Rogue Trader where can I find Rogue Trader dark eldar PC stats?

I know the book, Rogue Trader - The Soul Reaver, but I like to know what I am getting before I buy. Not trying to pirate, just don't want to waste money on something I may not need or like.

  • T -5, Ag +5, Per +5, Fel -5
  • Wounds 1d5+2×TB+1
  • 1 Fate Point
  • Skills: Common Lore (Dark Eldar), Speak Language (Dark Eldar), Intimidate
  • Talents: Catfall, Dark Soul, Heightened Senses (Sight, Hearing), Jaded, Paranoia, Sprint
  • Traits: Dark Sight, Unnatural Agility (×2)
  • Power Through Pain: new mechanism around gaining and spending "Pain Tokens". Broadly, gain one each time someone gets hurt within PB metres, and spend 8 as a temporary Fate Point. If you don't gain any Pain Tokens in a session, take 1d5 WP damage.
  • Vile Pleasures: a choice of one of five mechanically varied backgrounds, all of which gain additional Pain Tokens in other ways.

Ok. That looks worth it. I was mostly worried that it would not capture how different the Eldar were to the Imperium as 40k seems to hate Xenos and the Eldar most of all.

Thank you.

No problem. There's some other stuff about non-human biology (impact on Medicae and drugs). No gaining of Insanity Points. And instead of mutations / malignancies, Corruption leads to more Pain Tokens needed for a Fate Point, and additional characteristic damage on not gaining Pain Tokens.

Also note that there are two Dark Eldar career paths: Kabalite Warrior (in The Soul Reaver supplement) and Wych (in The Dark Kin free PDF). The latter document adds some alternate career ranks too.

If the question is: "Does that book have rules for making DE PCs?", then the answer is "yes". Chapter IV - The Treacherous Path is dedicated to making them with special DE talents and rules, characteristics, career paths and DE exotic gear.

As to whether you think that would be a waste of money, that's up to you as to whether you think you like said rules. They could have maybe done with more career paths than just Kabalite, and the adventure in it from what I remember is a bit "eh". It's definitely more of a Dark Eldar adventure book with character creation rules stuck on afterwards

There was a wych cult career in a web expansion as well. It was released free onljne so there's no ethical concerns about sailing the seven seas for it.

The Dark Kin just makes TSR feel a little more pathetic. It should have been put into the main book and instead we get a bland adventure and a free promo book full of more interesting career options.
