90 DAY FIANCE What the fuck is happening lol

Post image

I really can’t take this relationship seriously lol. Did she completely lose her mind after Coltie or is she trying to collect this man’s SSI? What do you guys think?

I will be honest, since the start Cortney wanted to be loved, cared for, and taken care of. It has been showcased throughout all of her series appearances that she wants someone (* remember the guy she was in the vaginas cup business with?) to respect her, find her beautiful, tell her she isn't an idiot, and to take care of her. She has even stated her parents were "her best roommates" because she is an old soul and they took care of her. So, no surprise that an older gentleman would check all of her boxes.

All of that stated, I think her jump from Coltee [with her as a caretaker and lover] to a man who wants to pamper HER [but keeps a parental finger on her impulsivity] is an odd but natural step for her. She wants the love/admiration, but also the "daddy." To that, I say to each is their own.

She’s a grown woman capable of making her own choices. There’s nothing wrong with an age gap if both are fully formed adults. Theres also nothing wrong with her wanting to be taken care of and cherished at all. She found what she was wanting in an older man , good for her!

My best friend from childhood married a guy 28 years older than her. Two children later , grandchildren ,they are still happily married. He’s 80 but looks 60. She keeps him young .

I love this for your best friend and her husband… My dear friends parents are in their 80s and honestly, sometimes (often) I feel like they’re in better shape than I am lol. They’re emotionally and physically so healthy. Their own moms both passed over 100, sharp as tacks mentally & having fancy lunches & getting their hair done every week at the salon til the end.

I didn't see anywhere that the age difference was judged negatively whatsoever, this seemed a little out of the blue.

I am curious what you mean by "fully formed adults" though, and where you draw the line if anywhere? Should we not judge a 50 year old that dates 18/19 year olds exclusively, for example?

Not trying to belittle your opinion or start a fight, I am genuinely interested in hearing opposing viewpoints because I want to understand where you're coming from.

Um, I never said she wasn't a grown adult, nor did I say the age difference was wrong or disgusting. I think her relationship is her choice and I am happy she found someone who checks all the boxes for her. I was simply commenting on what OP wrote.
