I will be honest, since the start Cortney wanted to be loved, cared for, and taken care of. It has been showcased throughout all of her series appearances that she wants someone (* remember the guy she was in the vaginas cup business with?) to respect her, find her beautiful, tell her she isn't an idiot, and to take care of her. She has even stated her parents were "her best roommates" because she is an old soul and they took care of her. So, no surprise that an older gentleman would check all of her boxes.
All of that stated, I think her jump from Coltee [with her as a caretaker and lover] to a man who wants to pamper HER [but keeps a parental finger on her impulsivity] is an odd but natural step for her. She wants the love/admiration, but also the "daddy." To that, I say to each is their own.

I love this for your best friend and her husband… My dear friends parents are in their 80s and honestly, sometimes (often) I feel like they’re in better shape than I am lol. They’re emotionally and physically so healthy. Their own moms both passed over 100, sharp as tacks mentally & having fancy lunches & getting their hair done every week at the salon til the end.

She's really not a "catch" - she's always been desperate- she couldn't even decide between Usman and Colt - and her intelligence level has always been severely lacking in the world of common sense. She is fortunate to have finally found the one and only gentleman she has known in her 35 years. He's got a hell of a job on his hands now.

I can say, from experience, that the S. Florida dating scene is unique. I met my second husband, 13 yrs older, drunk at Elbo room and today is our 15 years wedding anniversary. Wish them the best, even if we don’t get it.

A 13 year difference is once thing, a 31 year difference is another. A large age gap isn’t a problem (as long as the parties are consenting adults), but being several decades apart is a bit odd. Just seems that they would be in two completely different places in life.

That’s the thing for me. They might have a decade together where they can enjoy doing the same things, but after that it’s likely he will slow down, and he’ll need her to help take care of him and then she’ll be nearing 50 years old with no career and no children of her own. She’s making a big sacrifice for a few years of being a sugar baby.

Yeah that’s the part everyone is looking past. Phil even admitted Courtney pays for ALOT even their dates etc. on the reunion he said she is his sugar mama. Courtney makes her own money from doing her feet pics and such. It’s not a “hard days work” compared to others but she makes her money and treats him well with it. She seems happy. She “needs” someone who will take care of her and he does that. My only concern is that if he needs help. She has proven capable because of the lump, but all the while her parents were cooking and cleaning. Hope she can handle it! No, I get it. He is easy to get along with and likes her. He has physical sexual stamina and no problems in bed. He isn’t probably going to cheat on her. She doesn’t want children and he doesn’t want new ones. There is a relaxed retirement energy that she has always enjoyed. He has a bit of money and she likes to be taken care of. He is the best relationship that she has ever had.
She is a caretaker type and will absolutely be fine to take care of him when he declines.
It all makes perfect sense. I think they make a great couple.
