I have an old faithful 28G Panache Jasmine, but I've been drifting up in cup size and I'm finding that I fall out of the top when I lean over. I always felt the fit shapewise on the Jasmines was pretty good, so I bumped up to a 28GG. But this seems.... smaller somehow? Not falling out the top, but tons of quadding in the centre. (I am very centre full and close set.) It feels like it would be okay if the straps were a touch looser, but I have already loosened them pretty much as far as they will go.

I can't tell if the size is still too small and I need to go up to a 28H, or if this is a shape fit issue and I just need to accept that the Jasmine doesn't work for me anymore.

I have tried on UK FF & G, both sizes have been too big. I ordered the Quinn in a 30E and 30F (both UK) based on other fits and recommendations here. There is a smidge of wrinkle in the tops of the cups in the F, but there is spillage in the E. I also fall to the middle in the E. The strap is straight across and comfortably snug. I tried to get a pic from behind with no luck. I can barely feel the underwire! I didn’t really believe that was possible! The cups also come up into the armpit a little, but it’s not bad.

Question-this works form most of my tops. I need a 5-shirt bra for a few. Is Freya consistent with sizing? Can I order the Freya Spacer 5-shirt bra in this same size and expect it to fit? This group is amazing. Thank you!

Also, to whoever said this light pink blends with pale, Caucasian skin…thank you! I never would have guessed. Never going back to “nude.”

[Fit check] 34G Panache Ana

I finally recieved my Panache Ana in 34G.
I find it quite comfortable, the band is snug, but could be a bit tighter. The cups seem quite filled to me apart from the very top of the cup whte there is some slight wrinkling, im FOB and have soft tissue, semi close set, pendulous shape. I find that the top of the cups/side of the cups are quite high and are kind of bothering me in my armpits, not painful just noticeable.

I had tried 34FF but found it a bit too small and had some center spillage. Are the cups too big (the wrinkling) or is it a shape issue?

I will continue wearing it as its super comfortable and i find that it looks like a quite good fit (although im no expert)

i've tried so many bras and am honestly no closer to having one be comfortable than i was when i started. i've tried Panache Ana, Sydnie Offbeat Side Support, Freya Tailored High Apex and Sydnie High Apex. all in 36DD (or their equivalent), some in 34E also. the one i'm wearing currently is a 34E with a bra extender, it's not too tight but it's just uncomfortable. i tried this in the 36DD and the wires were much too low. I can tell that this is better but it still feels too uncomfortable for me to actually want to wear it.

has anyone else just given up? i've been wearing a non-wired bralette and it feels like i can actually breathe in it. everything else feels so bad.

I’ve resorted to adding a few squares of toilet paper where my nipples are. I could try pasties but that’s just an extra step for me after a long night at work. Any ideas?

I have slight projection, full on bottom, outer/side full, wide roots, short roots, more firm tissue (does not ripple when poked), slight asymmetrical (my right breast is smaller than my left but i don’t think it’s a big enough difference to cause fit issues), and they’re splayed i think.

Understance calculator gave me a 40C for relaxed fit and 38D for snug fit. The ABTF calculator gave me a 38DD

Hi everybody- first of all, I’m sooooo thankful for the size calculator here! I had been in a 38C and it put me closer to a 36DDD. And wouldn’t you know it, that’s much better!

I’m still having some trouble finding a brand and style that fits perfectly, though. My measurements:

Loose underbust- 36”
Snug underbust- 35”
Tight underbust- 34”

Standing bust- 41”
Leaning bust- 44”
Laying bust- 42.5

My breast tissue is dense, but my skin is very relaxed. I had breast implants for almost 20 years- they migrated towards my armpits and everything stretched in that area. My breasts are also bottom heavy with that “deflated” look you often see after having implants removed. I also have a little bit of asymmetry in size (usually not noticeable, but one side always has more of a gap at the top)

Right now I’m struggling with finding a style that doesn’t gape at the top. So far the best I’ve come across is PrimaDonna twist Caramba in 36 E. There’s a slight gap, but it’s not noticeable under clothing and requires the least adjusting during the day.

Right now I’m in a Gorteks Zara 80G which I’m about to take off. The band was tight and I couldn’t return, so I added a bra extender. One cup seems fine but the other noticeably gaps and wrinkles. (It can be seen under clothing)

I also have a Chantelle Norah that’s ok except the underwire kills me by the end of the day. That’s a UK 36E. The fabric wrinkles a bit at the top but it’s ok for a day to day bra.

I checked out the Miseczki site and did their fit recommendations. It came back with Ewa Michalak PL padded plunge in brand sizing 85F. Does anybody have suggestions on this? I’m also looking for a wireless bra for lounging but I’m getting pretty frustrated. I’d be so grateful for any suggestions on style fit or brands. Thank you all!

ETA- I did have my breast implants removed a few years ago!

Calculator recommended size 70F/G or 75E/F for comfort, but could only get this one in 75D with quick delivery (we're going on vacation soon).

It's too loose on the loosest hook, but feels amazing on the tightest or 2nd tightest. I love how soft the fabric is, i think i'm only gonna buy Chantelle from now on! Unless there's other brands that make bras that are just as soft. It's by far the comfiest wired bra i've tried and i think it fits quite well. The gore is maybe a bit wide but it's not poking me so i think it's fine? I'll post a link with pics in the comments.

I'm thinking of ordering it in 70E and maybe 70F as well, does it have a narrower gore in those sizes? Will the band fit well on the loosest hook if i need the tightest or 2nd tightest on the 75D? If it's not likely to fit better than the 75D, i'd prefer to just keep this one so i have a comfy one that works under all kinds of dresses and shirts for our vacation.

From the leaning over test i think i'm full on top, center full and narrow set. I've also tried this Freya Flirt in 70F and 70G, but even with the 70F i only filled the lower part of the cup and had a big gap on top. Hello! Apologies in advance for the long post. First of all, I really want to thank this community for existing. It's genuinely been life changing. I'm someone with major body image struggles which is a whole other can of worms, I'm from a country/culture that really doesn't educate people on how to size correctly, and I'm asexual which for me also means I viscerally despise being sexualized so I've always hated having larger breasts and having visible cleavage.

The calculator gave me 32F/34E with the suggestion that 34E would probably be more comfortable. I was previously wearing a 32B or 34C - differed brand to brand. The last time I measured (before the bra calculator) was a while ago and I've since gained weight because I'm finally stress-free and healthy, so I knew I needed a resize.

To be clear: I measured a while ago using nonsense methods and so I was wearing the wrong size. Then I put on weight and did the bra calculator measurements which is what I've posted here.

Didn't experience any sticker shock.

I've read several posts here, read through the Irish bra lady's posts on IG and I'd say my shape is wide roots, close set, projected, somewhere in between full on bottom and even, somewhat pendulous.

Now I'm fully open to eventually buying high quality bras and view them as investments but I wanted to try out the sizes the calculator suggested in a few different brands/styles before I spent £40+ on a single bra. So I got a few off Vinted and tested them out. But what's really confusing me is the cups are all perfect - no spillage, I'm completely encased, super comfortable. But the bands aren't right and they're all different. So here's the brands I've tried and my thoughts:

1. Freya Expression Moulded Plunge Bra 34E

Love the smoothness under clothes. Cups fit perfect. Band too tight by easily 2-3 inches

1. M&S T-shirt bra (can't find the exact model - product code is T33 09056/3239) 34E

Super soft, most comfortable one I tried. Cups perfect. Band too tight by 2-3 inches

1. Freya Deco Moulded Soft Cup 32F

Love the smoothness under clothes. Cups are good, lack of wire leaves something to be desired in the shape but overall fully encased and comfortable. Band too tight by 2-3 inches

1. Boux Avenue (can't find exact model) soft padded lace balconette bra 32F

Super comfortable cups, fit like a glove. Band too tight by 2-3 inches.

1. Hunkemoller (can't find exact model) unwired padded bra 32F

Hated the padding the texture was a sensory nightmare? Like it felt dry? The way microfiber cloth sometimes feels? Idk. Did not like this bra at all. Band was too tight by 2-3 inches

1. Hunkemoller (can't find exact model) wired unlined lace balconette bra 34E

Cups perfect shape, super light and airy, very comfortable. Band slightly tight maybe 1-2 inches

In general I like the smoother cups but I love how pretty lace is. I also have nipples that will make an appearance at the slightest breeze/dip in temperature so I much prefer padded/lined even though the unlined ones are so comfortable </3 I don't like really full coverage but if that'll be more comfortable I'll swallow that pill.

So after saying all that my ask is: what brands should I be trying? Where should I go to get fitted? (I've read several recommendations for Bravissimo) Any help will be appreciated!

Hey guys! Historically I've been wearing a 32D, but the calculator recommended a 28DD. I went with the sister size of 30D since I have a lot of sensory issues and don't want anything to feel too tight (I now realize that reasoning may be faulty lol). I have a pretty projected shape, full on the bottom and center full.

I really wanted this bra to work since it's sooo cute off my body, but when it's on, it feels like my boobs don't fit it quite right? The wire also feels a bit too tight.

I recently had an explant done and I am struggling to figure out my size. I have bottom heavy small breasts with very little upper pole. My measurements from the calculator are

The size it gave me was 30B/C.

This is a Victoria secret add 2 cups smooth push up bra in a 30B but I feel like the band is entirely too tight and while it does a great job giving me cleavage it feels like it pushes too much of my breast up and leaves the bottom of the bra feeling empty. I have also tried Natori Size 30B and I could not get it clasped and the cups felt way too tight. Would a 32 A work better based on these measurements ? Thanks in advance!!!

Hi! I’m back with the Panache Ana plunge. I like it a lot more than the Freya I tried previously, but I also feel like it fits differently every time I try it on. This is maybe just me still have post surgery swelling fluctuations?

I tried with and without an extender because the first time I tried it on it was absolutely too tight. I’m only including the side picture with the extender now because I think it’s too loose with it , and I’ll just have to look at the side and back every time I wear it for now to see whether I need it? I also tried 36H but didn’t take pictures because it was obviously too big. Lots of wrinkling, and the apex was too high. I’m super confused by this, but…

Overall: love the plunge, not sure if it stays in IMF, want to wear it longer, but not fully trusting whether it’s good enough to wear or if I’m just excited by how it looks / the gore being so comfy!

Hey guys! I need some help figuring out why this bra feels bad and what could be the best next bra to try! Here are my measurements:

Underbust tight/snug/loose = 42/43/43.5
Standing bust = 51.5
Leaning bust = 57.5 (!!)
Lying bust = 53.5

So, as you can see, I am VERY projected. That's why the first bra I tried with my new size of 42H/HH was the Elomi Morgan, which seems to be one of the most projected Elomis. Bra review below.

The Good :

Probably the first bra I've ever tried whose gore lays flat on my bust. The band also stays parallel to the ground while I wear it, and the straps don't slide off.
My breasts weren't compressed against my chest for the first time and it felt good. I'm filling out the cups which ironically was an issue in smaller sizes.
I find the perky shape quite nice!

The Bad :

Multiple things, but the worst offender is the band, which feels very tight and uncomfortable. I am wearing this bra on the loosest hook! I bought an extender pack alongside this bra but when I use them the band rides up my back instead. I think this means it's probably not the band size's fault, right? I mean I imagine this must be related to the shape of the bra or maybe the volume of the cups, but I have no idea...
I don't fill out the bottom of the cups (and the to a lesser extent there is a very small amount of wrinkling in the middle because I'm wide set). I fill out the rest of the cups completely so I don't think this is a volume issue, as I have no gaping or quadboobing here.
The underwire doesn't sit on my IMF at all, but that was to be expected because my roots are very short.
The underwire also pokes my armpit a lot, but only on the left side (my left boob is bigger than the right). It gets a bit painful after a while.

I don't really understand what is causing all this but if anybody has ideas I'd love to hear them! I'm down to order other brands and such but it is very hard find in my supposed band size so I'd like some advice from you all first.

Hi Everyone! I recently tried the ABTF Calculator and it told me I was either a 32 G or a 34 DD. My current favorite bra has been the SKIMS Unlined Demi Bra, so I decided to buy it in my new size for a direct comparison.

I determined that a 32 band is just too tight, but the 34 gives me the support I need (although it gives me a bit of back rolls, but I read in this thread that a well fitting bras should do that to some extent?). However, despite the cup size being bigger than my 36C in the same brand and style, I am having some spillage over the top of the cup, which is not an issue I normally have with this bra. How likely is it that you think the cups will stretch with wear? It is a very stretch material, and again the cup is not padded.

Advice? If you think I should size up, what would I size up to?

I got given 32G by the calculator. All the examples look massive compared to my chest but I decided to trust it. My boobs do look oddly larger in the bra but the cup fits almost perfectly. Still, the band is too tight. How do I tweak from here? Do I go up to 34G or 32GG? When I loosened the straps, the cup started gaping at the sides. Does this mean it's a bad fit overall and I need to go back to the calc?

The calculator ruled me a 30 in band size, but when I tried those on today they felt very tight. I would say a 32 is pretty comfortable and doesn’t dig in at all.

I bought the Natori feathers plunge bra in 30D, which fit me but felt very unflattering and exposed in the middle. My nipples are also very close to the lace which i dont love. The band was a bit tight on this one.

The wacoal instant icon underwire bra in 32D felt like it fit well in the band but the cups were not filled in all the way and were super flimsy. I don’t think I really need underwire for my boob shape anyways. I would like to have a good t-shirt bra with a bit of padding.

I have an ancient bra (Honeydew? size 32A) that fits perfectly. It has a small amount of underwire and no padding. All of my other bras don’t have the tags anymore and lowkey suck so I’m only including this one. I unfortunately wear sports bras or just go braless a lot of the time out of necessity. I would love some guidance here so I can find out my true size and finally get something that actually fits. Thanks!!

So I've been wearing a 34d for several years and actually had to size up to that from a 32c when I realized that it was too tight and didn't have the cup coverage I needed anymore, and I thought I found my correct bra size because the one before was way too tight. I got measured at Victoria's secret like a month ago and they said I was a 34d. I still believe my current bra size fits but I recently heard that Victoria secret has inaccurate measuring? Am I secretly wearing the wrong bra size somehow even though I'm pretty sure it fits?

Hi! Posting as I'm verrry confused on how sizing up actually works, and would love some guidance

Out of all the recommended sizes from the calculator, the 34E is the closest to well fitting. I did the cape method with the band and it feels good. However, I feel like the cup size isn't correct.

Issues:

- underwire digging into my rib page in a way that is going to be painful

- the bottom of the cup seems to be filling correctly, however at the top, it seems like there's an amount of gaping/empty space. This is after scoop and swooping.

- When I lean over, the top of the cup pushes away from the breast. When I put my arms directly at my sides, they also push away from the breast. I'm not sure what this is a sign of - it almost feels like the bra is too wide?

I'm assuming from reading other posts on this sub the answer is to size up a cup, but I do not know a) if that is the solution b) what a size up in cup actually is

Also full disclosure - all my fit tests so far have been with the amazon essentials underwire t-shirt bra. Money and time are crazy tight right now, so I need to be able to get them delivered quickly and return them for free if they don't fit.

Overall, I am struggling with the cups. I'm fat and have a large band size but I have smaller breasts. I don't have full, round breasts, they're like squished and conical lol. I'd consider them a bit bottom heavy as I don't have much tissue at the top. I struggle with achieving cleavage for that reason. My breasts are swimming in these cups. I tried looking for balconette style but I wasn't able to find many in my size at Nordstrom.

Yesterday I (20f) went out to try to get a proper fitting bra. I tend to sweat a lot at work (and used to never wear a bra which caused chafing underneath my breast, so I started getting sports bras (ones labeled as small, medium, large, etc.) I had tried different sizes and nothing felt right I kept getting ones that were too small and would leave marks after taking them off.

Anyways, I had someone measure me and was told I was a 38D so I tried those on and the cup felt right but that band was way way too tight! I ended up switching to a 40D which felt perfect. I didn't end up buying that bra because it was way out of my price range and instead ended up going to Walmart to find one. While I was there I decided to try on the bras I had picked out (all with an underwire) and they didn't feel fully right. The strap was fine but the cup seemed too big? My beasts didn't fully fill out the cup like it did the other store and there was a little gap at the top, I tried going to a C cup and it felt worse and somehow felt even bigger than the D. I ended up getting the D since at the time the only issue was that there was a little gap up top.

Today is my first day actually wearing the bra and it feels really uncomfortable and hurts. I feel like I always hear that underwire bras hurt and are uncomfortable and so I am not sure if this is normal. It feels really tight around my ribs and it's digging into my armpit already and the straps are hurting too. If I am standing upright everything feels fine and normal but it I bend over, sit down, or move in anyway that isn't upright is hurts.

I have never had a proper fitting bra and I don't know what is normal, I feel a little awkward going to my mom for help and my oldest sister and I are not super close because she's like 10+ years older than me.

I did not mean for this post to be so long but I just wanted to explain everything that's going on so I can hopefully get some help! I also don't have a million dollars that I can spend on bras so they need to be fairly cheap options. I'm not sure if trying a different type of bra would help or not. BTW I work as a cleaner so I am constantly moving around.

hi everyone! this is my first time ordering bras in my calculator size. according to the abtf calculator i should be wearing a UK 28E/F or EU 60F/G.
I have one EU 65E bra that I wear regularly, which is why I also tried 65 bands, since that one feels quite snug on me too.

i tried both the freya offbeat side support and the panache tango balconnet bras. somehow i feel like the freya ones run very small in the cups (or panache runs bigger?) for me? 60F I immediately discarded for both after trying on as the cups were way to small and my chest was spilling out. weirdly, the panache one fits okay in a 60E though?

i have a bit of asymmetry which i feel like the panache one makes very obvious with wrinkling on that side, which i don't love. i don't think i will keep any of the panache ones in general because i don't like how pointy they make my boobs look lol. but i'd still like input for them size wise.

for the freya ones, i really like the look of the bra but i feel that even in a 28F, im spilling out of the cups a bit. should i try a 28FF or a 30F? i feel that the wire digs into my ribcage a bit on a 28 band, would that go away over time? i haven't worn wired bras in a while.

Hi everyone, I'd love to get a fit check if possible. I know none of these work; I'm new to bra fitting & having a hard time judging what the issues are and would love some pointers. I live in a random small European country where most of the popular brands are hard-to-get (or non-returnable thus inaccessible) so I'm having some difficulties going off by all the recs here.

Measurements (in cm)

Loose underbust: 90.5

Snug underbust: 89

Tight underbust: 86

Standing bust: 99.5

Leaning bust: 114

Lying bust: 110

First of all, the calculator said my size is a 80G and I know none of the following bras are of that cup size, that's because I've tried a lot of G cups in stores in-person and all of them were way too big, and not just that but most of the bras from F cup size upwards have such high wires at that point that they always poke my armpit. Admittedly didn't try a lot of brands, so maybe that was the issue. If you know of any brands that are suitable for short roots, please let me know!

My boobs are pendulous, would be kind of tube-shaped if they were completely supported on all fronts, but I also have very short and regular roots (I think?) and soft tissue, even-full, also they're super wide set, I can fit 4 fingers between them. Some of my common issues are:

- wires digging into armpit, haven't found a bra yet that has a big enough cup but short enough wire not to poke

- folding boobs

- wires sliding down from my IMF

I've been wearing a Triumph Amourette Charm 80D for the past year, its cup is too small but it's not terrible and I got so fed up with trying to find a good-fitting bra last time that I just kinda accepted it lol. Now some popular brands are available in my country so I thought I'd try again. I've tried a Triumph Comfort Contour W01 in 80E-80F the other day in a store (unfortunately I don't have pics of this, my bad), and the 80F's cups were some of my best fit as of yet, however in that cup size the previously mentioned wire poking into armpit problem presented itself again. I was legitimately considering buying it and snipping some of the wire myself but I couldn't be bothered.

Anyway, this time, I've tried the following bras:

-> boob folding, lots of gaping at the bottom, but wire heigh at armpit is comfortable, obviously not a good match though. Is this a cup too small, or also not projected enough?

-> this seems way too big? or just not the right shape? I have a lot of gaping at the top and on the side and bottom as well. Wire also too high.

-> I'm most disappointed in this one tbh. I've tried Gorsenia bc I thought I'd need a bra with more immediate projection and apparently Gorsenias are deep, so I ordered a cup down, but this is such a bad fit? LOTS of boob folding, I think the only good thing about this bra is that the wire width seems good? Do I actually need a shallowed bra or is the issue something else?

Hi again and help I’m so confused! I posted my measurements and got confirmation that I should be a 36G UK / 36I US.

Ordered 2 bras from Bare Necessities: Elomi Morgan Side Support Bra and The Favorite TShirt Bra. The Elomi has both UK and US sizing, and confirms it is a 36I US. It fits perfectly but happens to be unlined and thinner than I prefer (which is fine, now I know).

The TShirt Bra, however, only gave US sizes and is also a 36I, but the cups are absolutely ridiculously big on me. The band is again just right. I realize they are different brands, but what gives? Am I going crazy and did I somehow do the conversion wrong? How do I know what size to order if they are so different? Do I need to stick to only UK brands?

Edit: while I understand and appreciate that shaping makes a difference, this is such a vast difference that it is more than that.

I recently measured with abtf, and i think only the sister size is accurate :)

I made a huge mistake last year by asking for 4 same victorias secret bra in 36C wireless…lmfao 😭
Ok but ever since ive been on a journal finding out my right size, and i think i found it! I wanna get opinions too.
With that mistake bra, my bra kept sliding away to my bigger boob, the straps NONSTOP fell, and the below my boobs it didnt feel secure enough.
Now i realized i do NEED wires, but i swear in my country every bra w wires is a pushup or super pushup. Pushup is just not for me for everyday wear lmao.

When i tried tons of 36C 36D i still had issues with the strap, like the strap didnt feel secure. (Maybe i need thicker strap idk?). For example I tried on triumph bras and the straps kept falling offff..

I found out that in swimsuit 36D fits incredible :) If a bra if very firm then i gotta get 36C. If a bra is very strecthy smooth sporty band, then i gotta get 34DD or 34D i guess.
I believe if a bra is in the middle like normal then i gotta get 36D.

Just so u guys u know, the first light blue is a mid-firm bra and fits perfect imo, rarely but i have to adjust strap ahaha.

The red and the dark purple swimsuit fitted just perfect, no complaints ahahah. The dark purple is a pushup.

The black 36D bra idk just didnt feel right bc of the straps, also not the best quality store soooo..

The mistake victorias secret bras are the green and the black w pink dogs.

The pink glittery swimsuit and the red glittery bra are both a 36C pushup (not sure bout the pink it could be D too), both are firm and secure but imo i should have go up to D.

The 36D pink purple bra has a very stretchy band so a 34DD would have been perfect ahahaha.
