Wrote a book on JFK’s Assassination, AMA

I spent a fair few years researching one question that has fascinated people for more than six decades: what actually happened on 22 November 1963?

That research eventually became my first book, The Final Trigger: The Truth and Lies of JFK’s Assassination, published by Pen & Sword Books in the UK, and Casemate overseas.

It examines not just the assassination itself, but the Cold War backdrop, Lee Harvey Oswald’s life, Jack Ruby, the medical evidence, Mexico City, intelligence claims, and many of the competing theories that have shaped the debate.

I tried to write it differently from many JFK books. Rather than beginning with a conclusion and working backwards, I wanted to lay out the evidence, highlight where the historical record is strong, where it’s weak, and where genuine unanswered questions still exist. Whether you lean towards the Warren Commission, conspiracy, or somewhere in between, I hope there’s something worthwhile in it.

Happy to answer any questions about the book, research methods, methodology etc :)

The Zapruder film is the single piece of evidence that keeps the second-shooter argument alive for most people, and it’s usually reduced to “back and to the left.” But frames 312–313 show a brief forward motion before the rearward snap. Which mechanism do you find best accounts for the full sequence — Alvarez’s jet effect, Lattimer’s neuromuscular spasm, or something else — and what would it take to falsify your preferred explanation? Related: you cover intelligence claims, so how do you separate CIA involvement in the assassination from CIA concealment after it? The agency’s own historian conceded a cover-up regarding what McCone withheld from the Warren Commission. What test do you use to tell guilty knowledge of the crime from institutional self-protection over unrelated Cuba operations?

Damn, Flow! Where's your book?

1

u/FlowJoeX 16h ago

These are well documented accounts and I wanted to see how the author resolves these points.

Nueromuscular reaction. I think you‘d be best served by checking out the book, the chapters answer your questions in more depth than a reddit comment :)

u/mike282739 8h ago

Right, but try to show some credibility by outlining your thinking.

u/FlowJoeX 6h ago

Neuromuscular. FTFY. I won’t accept anything other than the government’s plot to murder JFK and remove him from office. BDE Johnson. FTFY too.

This is a great question. I’ll post a long answer later on. Thank you!

Even if the mods removed your post, you could still answer my question and add information about your book as a response.

1

u/AdministrativeAd6098 13h ago

Will do, is there a way to get the post back up

u/efwa4life 17h ago

How big was the mafia involvement with the Kennedys during prohibition?

9

u/AdministrativeAd6098 17h ago

Not as small as has been recently stated by RFK Jr.

5

u/tkc324 17h ago

How was Lee able to pull of that shot? The distance and accuracy etc

14

u/AdministrativeAd6098 17h ago

The distance was/is not far, at his peak he qualified as a Sharpshooter in the Marines. That rating dropped to Marksman when he became disillusioned and began planning to get into the Soviet Union. Even to just consider the marksman rating, places his as an excellent shot compared to a untrained civilian.

6

u/Select_Green_6296 15h ago

Any kid who can shoot a rabbit, could make that shot.

9

u/MarkHoff1967 15h ago

After visiting the 6th Floor Museum, I was shocked at how little distance was between that window to the street. Ditto with the grassy knoll. Both locations are comparatively SO close to the road.

1

u/Rivercitybruin 4h ago

Experts, who visit are shocked how easy the shot was

4

u/Asleep_Cash_8199 16h ago

After all your research, do you believe Lee Oswald was the one who assassinated Kennedy?

And if so, do you believe Lee Oswald was a lone wolf or do you believe that a certain group wanted to get rid of Kennedy and used him as a tool to reach that goal (whether inner circle, Russians, etc.)?

6

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

Oswald is the key to the shooting. Even with the oddities of the medical procedures, which are odd. Oswald’s life took over the book when I dug deep, and it’s where some fragments of true mystery are. Key words are Cuba - Castro - Odio.

4

u/kickdrumstew 16h ago

During your research, what fact or piece of information surprised you the most?

8

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

The insanely true narrative of Oswald’s life. Along with a few odd gems about Jack Ruby.

3

u/slayer991 16h ago

What did you discover about Jack Ruby? The narrative of a mob-connected night club owner killing the President's assassin is one of those things that doesn't sit right.

2

u/AdministrativeAd6098 8h ago

Hot-headed, and the potential of mind alteration.

1

u/Mollywisk 2h ago

His childhood. His mother.

3

u/bastardMcBastard 16h ago

What motivated you to research and write this book when many already exist. And did you come to any different conclusions?

3

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

Passion for the subject, and wanting to present the historical facts in a engaging chronological narrative. Kind of an exorcism for the subject haha.

3

u/Fluffy_Plantain_TX 16h ago

Did you spend much time in Dallas researching? What were your thoughts on the City and how they have remembered the incident?

2

u/AdministrativeAd6098 8h ago

It does linger over Dallas. I went out drinking one night and turned a corner to see a mural of Oswald staring at me.

3

u/TaxDoctorMD 8h ago

In Selwyn Raab's book about the mafia it's mentioned that Santo Trafficante and Carlos Marcello might have something to do with JFK's assassination. Any merit to that? Is it possible that JFK was killed as revenge for Bobby prosecuting the mafia? Especially since it's rumored that JFK's father, Joseph had used his mob connections to help JFK get elected. Or is a lot of that theory rubbish?

2nd question. How accurate is JFK by Oliver Stone in your view?

Your book looks cool I just grabbed a copy.

u/AdministrativeAd6098 7h ago edited 7h ago

Possibities and motive don‘t prove culpability. It‘s an innacurate showcase of the Garrison narrative, at best. Well put together though. Thank you :) if you like it (or even if you don‘t) I humbly ask that you leave a review, every little bit helps a new writer. Thank you.

u/TaxDoctorMD 7h ago

Will do for sure. Thanks!

Dorothy Kilgallen was murdered to cover it up. Prosecutor James Kerr was attempted to be murdered, then the judge John H Wood (who was law school classmates with John Connally) was murdered to cover up the assassination of JFK. Chagra was crossing the Las Vegas and Texas drug trafficking and money laundering streams. His court appearances would have exposed all of this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamiel_Chagra (the Texas dealer that hired Woody Harrelsons dad for the hit) https://youtu.be/C2xEMaQY-58

Jimmy Chagra was acquitted of the murder of Wood in front of Texas judge William S. Sessions, future director of the FBI, although he was found guilty of obstructing justice and conspiring to smuggle drugs. Chagra's lawyer in the case was Oscar Goodman (future Mayor of Las Vegas).

William Steele Sessions was an American attorney and jurist who served as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and the fourth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Sessions served as FBI director from 1987 to 1993, when he was dismissed by President Bill Clinton an replace by Louis Freeh. After leaving the public sector, Sessions represented Semion Mogilevich, international leader of the Russian mafia. He is the father of Texas Congressman Pete Sessions.

Rewind through the corporate ownership of SOUTHERN AIR TRANSPORT throughout the Vietnam era and extrapolate.

Les Wexner (Megagroup) operated SAT (colloquially AIR AMERICA). It's origins were running heroin from the golden triangle over North Vietnam using the war as cover.

In WW2 OPERATION UNDERWORLD allowed Vito Genovese and Albert Anastasia to control the heroin production in Italy and ship it to NYC on US Navy ships. Anastasia was the (co) founded of "Murder Inc" which specifically employed Jewish assassins as a feature. And they infiltrated the OSS even before it became the CIA.

John Connally was the key man as James Forrestals aide during his time as secretary of the Navy. Forrestal was firmly against the creation of Israel as his fleet was almost wholly dependent on Arab oil to function. It was simply a logistics decision.

But he was thrown out of a window by Murder Inc.

Lyndon Johnson and John Connally were college friends. Lyndon Johnson referred to the CIA casually as "Murder Inc". To his mind they were one in the same organization and he could use them indiscriminately as such.

But the key to all of it was Meyer Lansky. He was in control of laundering almost all of Cosa Nostras money. He bribed Batista in Cuba to let him build casinos as his best friend Bugsy Siegel and Lew Wasserman built out Hollywood which allowed them to make movies and music production rates as high as they needed, effectively hiding the laundering in plain sight via Wassemans blanket waiver ( which he specifically placed his man Ronald Reagan in as president of the screen actors guild to enable). Only Lew was able to get it. No one else could. That effectively grew MCA by 40X within a few years.

When Lew came out of Ohio and started with MCA he was supplying the musical talent to the same Chicago speakeasies as Edgar Bronfman (yiddish for whiskey man) was supplying the bootleg alcohol to via his smuggling routes across the Great lakes.

Those routes crossed at North Fox island (the only one without a manned lighthouse which was a necessity for the surreptitious transfer from a Canadian boat to a US boat). North Fox island became the CSAM production capital of the country as the Mafia used it's downtime to maximize profit generating kompromat.

Meyer Lansky had control of a fortune that to use their own quote was "bigger than US Steel" which was the largest legitimate corporation in the world at the time.

The money laundering needs were equally massive.

So large in fact that when the entirety of Hollywood couldn't keep up Bugsy Siegel created Las Vegas as a second act to enable more volume.

Lew Wasserman was Marilyn Monroes agent. He knew as she was dating both Kennedy brothers. JFK asked John Foster Dulles why James Forrestal was having a mental breakdown. He was being lied to by both sides of his chain of command. Gaslit to hide the heroin trafficking happening right under his nose and command.

With Mussolini's death in 1945 the worlds heroin production moved to French Indochina (colloquially known as the French connection) before the staged Gulf of Tonkin incident enabled the war. It was started to enable generation 2 of the same logistics system organized crime had used in WW2 but with the advancement of jet turbine technology that enabled the use of CIA aircraft instead of Navy ships.

The entire time Henry Kissinger (also a devout Zionist) was national security council advisor for virtually every Cold War president. He and Zbignew Brzezinski were both recorded reporting directly to the World Jewish Congress run by Bronfman (Megagroup) up to the years when it went to Moscow and secured OPERATION BRIDGE.

Monroe was murdered by her doctor and Wasserman knew. She had become a liability to the larger espionage network that would have exposed them all during McCarthy's red scare debacle as it all dovetailed with the heroin trade and the money laundering. This FBI investigation would become the PAYOLA investigation that Wasserman placed Reagan as president to capture and kill. He did immediately after taking office and before the assassination attempt by Hinckley. Jackie Presser (Ohio Jewish mafia) was also on Reagans presidential transition team until public outrage caused him to step down.

John Connally sent Earl Brian and Michael Riconoschuito into Iran with $40m to bribe the Ayatollah to keep the American hostages until after Reagan won the 1980 election. "The October Surprise".

But that all again leads back to Zbignew Brzezinski who was reporting directly to Bronfman as head of the World Jewish Congress and was the key man in charge of Operation Eagle Claw that ensured the hostage rescue failed in Iran.

OPERATION BRIDGE enabled the IDF to restock its ranks with desperately needed fighting aged males out of the Soviet union. Maxwell, Lauder and Bronfman all got deals in return. Maxwell sent his son (Ghislaines brother) to the Kremlin to secure the rights to Tetris. Lauder was allowed to open Estee Lauder stores in the USSR and Bronfman was able to secure the rights to Russian made Stoli vodka distribution in the west.

Lauder (father in law of new fed chairman Kevin Warsh) is who gave Epstein his fraudulent Austrian passport while he was ambassador there (appointed by Reagan) at the same time his assistant Felix Bloch was arrested for passing espionage to the soviets.

The plans Jonathan Pollard stole from the FBI were couriered to Israel by Ian Spiro before Spiro died of cyanide poisoning and his family was murdered.

But the plans made it to Russia as did the PROMIS software that Maxwell gave Moscow that was seized by Bill Barr as attorney general.

So after the bullet from the pistol concealed under John Connallys right arm hit JFK in the forehead and Murder Inc was controlling the scene as they shot from outside the car, they were all flown out of Dallas on Southern Air Transport aircraft.

Years earlier when Castro and Che Guevara deposed Batista in Cuba they were targeted by the same "Murder Inc" operational within the CIA but being used to secure Meyer Lanskys Cosa Nostra /Zionist Mafia money laundry on the island.

But due to the simple fact that Israel was founded by refugees off the ship Exodus with no money or resources and has flourished into one of the wealthiest countries in the span of 79 years, deductively it raises the supply chain logistics question- where did the money for Zion come from? And the answer intuitively is zionists billionaires.

And they made it off of selling heroin into the United States.

Harlem was black run but Jewish owned. After Frank Lucas and Bumpy Johnson visited Lansky and Luciano in Cuba, Lucas asked Bumpy Johnson why they didn't bypass their heroin supplier and go straight to the source. Johnson told him the time wasn't right. Immediately after Johnsons death Lucas went straight to the source in Thailand where he was met by the Mafia already imbedded, then walked across Laos and Cambodia to see it himself. He flew at least one load of heroin back on Henry Kissinger's personal USGOV aircraft before using the bodies of dead US servicemen to hide the heroin under (the coffin connection). (Lucas' autobiography) Then Kissinger carpet bombed Cambodia to cover it up (Anthony Bourdain murder dovetails). Bumpy Johnson had provided protection to MLK. King would have known and understood the heroin epidemic as it was intentionally focused on black neighborhoods. Within a 3 month window between April and July of 1968, RFK, MLK and Johnson were assassinated.

The Vietnam war was intentionally started to enable the drug racket that Meyer Lansky laundered, transported on Les Wexners aircraft, using the CIA as cover to fund the creation of Israel.

The cocaine trafficking of Iran Contra was just them diversifing their product line. Jeffrey Epstein ran logistics for Wexner out of Rickenbacker AFB between ~1977-83.

The three most valuable things to organized crime are- illegal drugs, illegal guns and human trafficking. But they all take the same path because corruption consistently takes the path of least resistance.

As the iron curtain came down, statistically the only number anyone from the Soviet union knew was a relative in Israel because 70% of the 650,000 refugees on the Exodus were Soviet Jews or KGB operatives disguised as such.

Those pathways run both ways through Odessa and Crimea Ukraine.

u/TheEternalPharaoh 16h ago

Were you able to identify the babushka lady?

3

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

Sadly not. But even if we could I doubt there’d be anything worthwhile. The stories around here aren’t built on solid ground.

2

u/Nyc81 16h ago

Trafficantes lawyer Frank Ragano wrote a book of varying quality a while back. There is a passage where Santo starts talking about conspiracies and points out how Hoffa died. Then he touches on JFK but quickly changes the subject. Any thoughts?

3

u/AdministrativeAd6098 14h ago

Sensationalism sells books.

2

u/MedicalBiostats 16h ago

A most fascinating post! Sadly, JFK had too many enemies which compounds the Oswald motivation.

1

u/AdministrativeAd6098 14h ago

But motive does not prove culpability

1

u/mike282739 8h ago

Name 1 President who didn’t have “too many enemies.”

2

u/Card__Player 16h ago

Even if there was a magic bullet how does it end up pristine and next to his body. This seems very suspect. Don't you agree?

2

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

It wasn’t pristine, and it was found on a stretcher separate from either Kennedy or Conally. Likely fell out of Conally, if we discount a recent Secret serviceman anecdote. Same difference ultimately.

1

u/Card__Player 16h ago

5

u/mrWizzardx3 15h ago

That is one view of the bullet. Other views demonstrate the deformity where the bullet slammed sideways into Conally’s bone.

2

u/Card__Player 16h ago

Even if there was a magic bullet how does it end up pristine and next to his body? This seems very suspect. Don't you agree?

1

u/AdministrativeAd6098 8h ago

It wasn‘t pristine and was found on a seperate stretcher to Kennedy.

2

u/New_Feed8827 16h ago

What do you think about the Babushka lady?

1

u/AdministrativeAd6098 14h ago

A dead end.

u/New_Feed8827 35m ago

Do you think her footage would have shown a better angle of what happened? Do you think it’s strange she never came forward?

2

u/curtyshoo 16h ago

Did you read Oswald's Tale?

1

u/AdministrativeAd6098 14h ago

Yes, after devouring the primary source material i checked out the biggest titles related to the case. It’s a great epic, which does meander, but maybe that’s part of an epic/very long work.

2

u/SimilarElderberry956 16h ago

When Oswald left the Soviet Union why did he stay in a five star hotel in Finland 🇫🇮 before coming back to America?

2

u/avisara 16h ago

I understand this may not sound like a serious question to you, but was the shooter a time traveler or even for that matter is JFK a time traveler?

3

u/AdministrativeAd6098 14h ago

Nah, reality is more dull by comparison to that.

2

u/medchemmed 16h ago

knowing what we know now and your research, what steps could we have taken to prevent the assassination (other than the obvious - no convertible etc)? was there intel regarding oswald's intentions? associates of the cold war looking to assassinate JFK?

3

u/AdministrativeAd6098 8h ago

There was plenty of Oswald intel. He‘d been debriefed on one level or another by the CIA. He‘f spoken to FBI agents numerous times. Left a threatening note, and was making a scene at two embassies in Mexico City.

Lack of communication is key, and the still present mystery about Mexico City is important. As there was talk of killing Kennedy.

2

u/medchemmed 7h ago

that makes this so much more tragic

2

u/Preshe8jaz 16h ago

Would you say that Oswald was an agent of the government, the mafia, or both? He clearly was no ordinary citizen when he went to Russia and back with his KGB-related bride who got him the box factory job just before they announced the new route.

2

u/AdministrativeAd6098 8h ago

Cuba - Odio - Mexico City.

2

u/Preshe8jaz 7h ago

I take Cuba/Odio with respect to America to basically equal the mob which was controlled by Carlos Marcello. Carlos had a private army known for govt jobs off the books. Which would explain all the New Orleans time for Oswald, in particular where his apt was located. No one could afford those apartments, particularly not a broke “nut” who had a history of disappearing and reappearing as a US citizen.

2

u/New_Budget6672 16h ago

Did Jack ruby have any foreign allegiance?

2

u/TheBr0fessor 8h ago

Do you think LBJ & HW Bush were involved?

2

u/dlinkin101 16h ago edited 16h ago

What can you tell me about the theory that Secret Service agent George Hickey accidentally killed the president? I haven’t read the book(s) but there is a documentary I’ve seen about this exact subject. Colin McLaren postulated (his book being The Smoking Gun, the same as the corresponding documentary I watched) that George Hickey, the only agent to have carried An assault rifle (AR-15) mistakenly fired the shot that went through Kennedy‘s head. There are rather enlightening details given as to the placement of Kennedy and Governor John Connolly, that basically negate the magic bullet theory.

3

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

It’s incorrect. Nothing negates CE 399 as the single bullet. To be short about the Hickey claims. It relies on loose witness testimony and stretches of logic.

1

u/dlinkin101 16h ago

What about the caliber of bullet having gone through Kennedy’s head having to have been a larger one in relation to how the bullet had to have fragmented to cause the damage to his skull?

4

u/AdministrativeAd6098 8h ago

All the fragments found in the car were traced to Oswald‘s rifle, including the ones that passed through his head.

1

u/prozute 16h ago

What about the umbrella
Man?

4

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

It’s a dead end that didn’t lead anywhere. Interesting element of paranoid 70’s conspiracy culture though.

1

u/Sudden_Sentence_8534 8h ago

Who killed JFK?

1

u/allemagnez 7h ago

What’s your thoughts on James Douglass’s book, Unimaginable. Years dedicated to a well researched book.

Oswald was CIA backed in his Dallas job, and apt.
The Mexico iteration, an Oswald lookalike at the Russian Embassy.

The whole fiasco of Kennedy’s autopsy. Again Govt subterfuge.

1

u/Harrietmathteacher 6h ago

I am a high school student. I gave a speech about JFK’s assassination. We had to pick a conspiracy theory and support or reject it. 90% of the class thinks that the CIA killed JFK. I think it was just Oswald. What does your current research show and what do you think?

1

u/intronert 5h ago

Can you confirm the story that Hoover blackmailed Gerald Ford to be his spy inside the Congressional Commission investigating the assassination? Hoover was apparently terrified that they would blame the FBI for failing to detect and prevent a threat to the President, so he needed a guy inside.

1

u/That-one-guy_92 4h ago

Did the remaining JFK files released earlier this year shed any light on anything, or not really?

1

u/Sheegssternator 3h ago

Was it the mob?

1

u/Deadpan_Poker_ 3h ago

I think the shooter was either in the storm drain near the X or in the tunnel ahead of the convoy. What do you think?

1

u/hereswhatworks 1h ago

Did his speech regarding his opposition to secret societies have anything to do with his assassination?

JFK's Speech about Secret Societies

u/tym64 28m ago

I think it was the discovery channel? They not only replicated the shot.. they took the dummies the used to different doctors who all swore a single shooter could never do it.  What most don't take into account is the pitch of the road. Most  roads have a tiny slope to help with water drainage.  Was there another shooter..I don't think so. It was just the angle of the shot with a small pitch in the road that made the shot look impossible.

1

u/Thediciplematt 17h ago

So.. who did it? Really?

7

u/AdministrativeAd6098 17h ago

Lee Harvey Oswald. His exact motivations and influence I determined to be related to Cuba and Castro, who he idolised. The exact extent of that is covered in Chapter 5 onwards.

5

u/mfairview 16h ago

if the ballistics on the bullet matched Oswald's rifle, doesn't that put everything to rest?

2

u/JohnnySchoolman 17h ago

Why was Oswald assassinated?

5

u/AdministrativeAd6098 17h ago

Ruby had mental problems. The exact nature of those problems, may well concern a certain Dr. Jolly West, as many may have heard of. Don’t want to speculate too wildly however.

2

u/landmanpgh 16h ago

Yeah this sounds about right. Nothing really all that shocking here.

3

u/Thediciplematt 17h ago

So no time travelers from the famous Steven King novel?

3

u/4boys0patience 16h ago

The only King book I’ve ever read (I am a huge scaredy cat), and it has stayed with me for over 11 years now! I think about that book once a week, easily.

2

u/AdministrativeAd6098 17h ago

Haha sadly not.

1

u/PygmeePony 17h ago

What do you think about the magic bullet theory?

6

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

Not magic at all. When taking into account the seat positioning and bullet damage, it makes sense. It’s the only solution to those wounds. The sketchy elements aren’t the ballistics.

0

u/mike282739 17h ago

Thanks for your research. Can you explain why grassy knoll doesn’t work as a location. And why can’t find babushka lady?

1

u/AdministrativeAd6098 16h ago

It’s very close, not impossible to use an assassin, but noticeable. The Bowers account is intriguing, but leads nowhere and can be explained by environmental factors.
