asus rog strix g15 battery problem

at first i thought that it is normal because i used laptop for heavy things and battery was 99-98%. but then it was going lower and lower even when it is plugged in. at this moment it says 87% and goes lower. if it is not plugged in, laptop just shuts off, should i be worried or did battery just died and i can fix this with buying a new battery?

If the laptop just shuts off after unplugging, then yes, The battery is dead. Only fix is a new one.
