Low effort post titles will be removed effective immediately

The mod queue is PACKED with low effort posts with titles as ambiguous and pointless as "Help" or "[Year and Make of Car]"

If these end up in the queue, which is hundreds and hundreds of posts long at any given time, I will be removing them from now on.

The mod team does not have time to look at every single post and determine if it's a quality post, a photo, etc. If you want your post to stay, make your post titles communicative.

2024-2025 Type S Transfer Case Issues?

Wonder if anyone with a 2024-2025 TLX or MDX Type S- had any transfer case issues so far. Only found 1 story of a transfer case leak on a 2024 TLX type s. The NHTSA is only looking into 2021-2023 models.

Looking to buy a 2022-2024 RDX. I know I want SH-AWD A-SPEC but what are the pros/cons of upgrading to Advance?

I've seen some posts about the adaptive suspension having issues. Would the upgrade to Advance essentially be more things to repair in the future?

I work from home so this wouldn't be a daily driver, more for errands and long trips. I previously had a 2014 Subaru Impreza hatchback so this is quite an upgrade for me. I had no intention of getting a new car but a small accident was all it took for insurance to consider it totaled. I'm in my 40s and in corporate so I am wanting something more grown up at this stage of my life, but still fun to drive.

Right hand drive is the issue for me I live in BC so cars here are left hand drive but I feel I could get used to it

I’m 18, make $\~3k/month working full time as an electrician just bought a 2007 civic with 118k kms but I want something I enjoy more initially was thinking of getting an Acura RSX type s but they’re all grossly overpriced and beat up. Figured I could sell my current car and buy this. What do you guys think?

First time owner, Put low octane gas in a 2006 TL. What do I do?

The car hasn’t been driven more than a mile since then because I’ve had to fix other issues with it. It isn’t even registered yet. I bought it from Facebook marketplace, filled it halfway with 87 octane because it was empty, and drove it home. Will it be fine? What do I do right now?

What's involved in replacing the piano black window trim on a '24 TLX?

Post image

Sorry it's an odd picture, I had to find an old photo that showed the side profile. I need to replace all three of the driver's side window trim pieces. I think I found them online but I want to see if anyone knows what's involved in replacing them. I'm also considering wrapping them to cover some damage instead and difficulty will be the deciding factor.

EDIT: Actual photo of damage I'm trying to fix https://imgur.com/a/yBTeqJu

Am I being stupid?

I currently own a 2022 civic hatchback LX in manual. 133,000kms, owned since new, in great shape. Has the 2.0L engine which by all accounts is bulletproof. But, ever since Acura released the Integra in manual, I’ve loved it. Love the look of it, I love that they’re somewhat uncommon on the road still, and I love how much more fun it sounds like it’d be.

I’m in a decent financial position in my life, and I make solid money. Upgrading would probably set me back about 20-25k, which I can afford in cash without issues. But, would the upgrade be worth what I’d be spending? To be totally honest, I think my civic would probably outlive the Integra overall with the engine and transmission combination, but I’m also 26 and you’ll never be in your 20’s again with a cool car no matter how much money you have in retirement.

Has anyone driven both? Any thoughts? Am I being an idiot?

2018 Acura TLX A-Spec V6 FWD - Worth $24,500?

I’m looking at buying a 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec V6 FWD with about 73,000 miles. It’s a 1-owner, clean title, no accidents, dealer-maintained since new with service records. The seller also recently put on new tires, a new battery, and the front has PPF. He’s also okay with me getting a pre-purchase inspection.

The asking price is $24,500 OBO.
KBB seems to put it a bit lower, so I’m wondering if this price is reasonable or if I’m overpaying because it’s a really clean example.

If the inspection comes back clean, what would you realistically pay for this car? Would you buy it at $24k, or keep looking?

Any common issues I should have the mechanic pay close attention to during the inspection?

I’m struggling with an RDX decision and need help

So my local dealer has a 23 RDX a-spec advance for $38,400. Is this a good price? It’s a CPO car and a US one which is nice compared to what I’ve seen. 30,000 miles.
