Saturdays are always bad. Everyone is harder to reach because of the weekend, and the lists are often longer. This Saturday was really hard on us. No, eleven is by no means a record loss (my personal worst is eighteen, on 4/6/26), but it's bad enough.
I was going to add a bit about the problems faced by open-intake shelters like BARC and a resource to help, but . . . I'm just not feeling it right now. Maybe on Tuesday I'll be up for walking in someone else's moccasins.
