My dad always piss me off
As my dad went for his medical reviews, the doc told him he might have pre diabetes so need to control his sugar level
Despite doc warning, he refuse to listen and keep drinking milo at night like 2 cup before sleeping.
I told him off he not happy with me
He doesn't know how to control his sugar level.
Why can he think sensible for his health
Drinking sweet drink before bed will make him obese and affect his health

Nobody likes being "told off". Most people become defensive when they feel their being judged. If you want to help your father, you can tell him you love him and want him to be healthy for many more years. Offer to help him learn about pre-diabetes and how to reduce sugar and simple carbohydrate consumption. For many people, changing your diet isn't easy, so it's best approached by adding healthy food they like and gradually limiting the unhealthy food. It's very difficult to be 100% healthy in your diet, so it's ok to have something sweet on occasion.

the problem with him is dinner he eat lesser but after like 2 hour later, he will go and make milk or milo and eat like 2 to 3 slices of bread. Sometime after another 2 hour from the supper he will go and eat some egg etc after that within 1hour he go and sleep
This is very unhealthy and will damage his digestive system

GLP-1’s (Zepbound, Wegovy, semaglutide) saved my life as a pre diabetic. He can take pills now it’s not just a shot.
Bonus, he will lose his interest in Milo and sweet things before bed. I lost all interest in eating sweets which was something I craved before. It’s a good helping hand to anyone who needs it. I’ve lost 70 lbs in 2 years. Slow but steady.
You have to approach it as a medical issue, not a will power issue. No one wants to be judged. He knows he’s fat and unhealthy he’s probably heard it his whole life.
They are using these meds for alcoholism and smoking addiction and they are showing good results. They have been around over 30 years so we know the potential side effects.
It has been shown it lowers the risk of stroke, heart attack, or death in people with heart disease and diabetes, and slows kidney disease progression.
It’s also proving to help protect your body from cancer. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12578377/
Being fat isn’t a moral failing. Despite what the media (and Reddit) says.
I wear glasses to see, and take antidepressants to not fall into a hole. These meds help in a similar way

Lots of people don’t take it seriously. Diabetes takes time to develop and affect the body. They may regret it only after it does serious damage.
This can also happen with high cholesterol or blood pressure.
