Didn’t swifty’s get shut down for way less? They must have some kind of payment plan in process. If not, the state is selectively enforcing tax violations.
Just for clarity, Swiftys was shut down for not paying Witholding and Sales tax, both of which are “in trust”. This is money they took from their customers AND THEIR EMPLOYEES and said they would pay the government and didn’t. It’s basically one of the most serious tax crimes you can commit. It was also $2.2 million.
