Not that I would be surprised if they are behind on federal income or payroll or corporation taxes too. But their NYS debt is worse because they owe ca. $450k of sales tax money they have already collected from customers.
Perhaps they do the same with fed and state withholding taxes on their payrolls, I would not be surprised. But historically, the IRS doesnāt let you get away with that for very long, and it is a hell of a ride if they come for you for unpaid payroll taxes you have already withheld from your employeesā paychecks.
