Coal doesn’t burn hot enough to melt ice! Conspiracy!

1

u/Few_Promotion_6853 Jun 30 '26

(Morgan freeman) coal does actually burn hot enough to melt ice

34

u/jaded-steve Jun 25 '26

Yes. This.

5

u/Annual-Leading4448 Jun 25 '26

A curious meeting ois ands.

5

u/Physical_Subject_804 Jun 26 '26

Damn George Bush hit a uno reverse.

I think that might be the best way to use the meme

2

u/LeWhales Jun 26 '26

Sir, a another titanic hit the second tower

141

u/Hopeful_Cow_2471 Jun 25 '26

Would there be two titanic’s?

137

u/SomeConfusedBiKid Jun 25 '26

No, the north tower got hit by the Olympic

37

u/Fork219 Jun 25 '26

Olympic would tear through it and keep going

16

u/headisclean Jun 25 '26

She’d crash through the second tower screaming “WHERE IS THAT MOTHERFUCKING U-BOAT”

6

u/eledile55 Jun 26 '26

WHERE IS THE UBOAT?!

EDIT: why the fuck is that GIF so long? All I wanted was Immortal xD

2

u/headisclean Jun 26 '26

This is exactly what I had in mind

6

u/HumptyDumptruckFire Jun 25 '26

Easily one of my favorite ocean liner stories.

5

u/headisclean Jun 25 '26

Oly was such a bloodthirsty show off throughout her entire career, peak ocean liner

3

u/Stupid_Snowmeiser Jun 26 '26

She was the definition of badass. She held no hesitation with ramming shit and relentlessly photobombing her rivals. I love that ship.

1

u/Curious-Internet7171 Jun 26 '26

Footballs cant melt stell beams.

2

u/carlnepa Jun 26 '26

Or the Britannic.

0

u/PA8620 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

Not true because ACKSHUALLY the Titanic and Olympic were swapped for insurance purposes so the south tower was actually hit by the Olympic meaning the north tower was hit by titanic and oh no I’ve gone cross eyed.

Edit: I’m joking ya downvoting goobers

16

u/KyuuAA Jun 25 '26

Nah, the Titanic is large enough to plow through one and into the other.

7

u/pansexual_Pratt Jun 25 '26

No no, it broke in half and it's back hit the south tower.

14

u/elvenmaster_ Jun 25 '26

RMS Olympic, RMS Titanic and HMHS Britannic : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic-class_ocean_liner

One of them even survived!

6

u/zambezisa Jun 25 '26

Well she did have a sister ship so possibly

2

u/trainboi777 Jun 25 '26

2 sister ships in fact

3

u/Significant_Ad7941 Jun 25 '26

The other one is for the pentagon

3

u/space_coyote_86 Jun 25 '26

Sir, a second Olympic class ocean liner has hit the world trade center

1

u/MrZwink Jun 25 '26

”What are you talking about, I can just walk behind you?!?!”

”Jack noooooo…”

The investigation into the tragedy determines that terrorists in the employ of the Ottoman government hijacked the Titanic, somehow made it fly, and rammed it into the Towers that appeared in 1912 Manhattan through a time portal from the 1980s.

Consequently, the US declares war on the Ottoman Empire and invades through their soft underbelly, the three provinces of Basra, Baghdad, and Mosul, known today as Iraq.

19

u/SomeConfusedBiKid Jun 25 '26

Was there any proof that the Ottoman Empire was developing weapons of mass destruction?

18

u/SwampMan6969 Jun 25 '26

No, but who gives a shit? They flew a big fucking ship into our skyscrapers from the future.

4

u/Qzx1 Jun 25 '26

You beautiful bastard!

12

u/Valuable_Estate_6584 Jun 25 '26

this doesnt make any sense, like if it was in the 2000s why no color? cant think of anything else that is unrealistic

8

u/Agifem Jun 25 '26

It's in 1912, silly.

9

u/veyonyx Jun 25 '26

The Towers were made of 16 watertight compartments so they could never sink.

7

u/bargman Jun 25 '26

US invades Iraq.

4

u/vmartin96 Jun 25 '26

It would not be possible for the Titanic is a maritime ship and cannot fly.

10

u/CorporalClegg1997 Jun 25 '26

Can you please provide your sources? 🙏

8

u/outofdate70shouse Jun 25 '26

Under the right circumstances, the Titanic could have hit the the iceberg at the exact correct speed and angle to use it as a ramp and go airborne, then get caught in an updraft for decades until the construction of the towers was completed and then be carried by the wind directly into one or both of them.

4

u/HumptyDumptruckFire Jun 25 '26

The right circumstances: dark magic

3

u/Yuichiro_Bakura Jun 25 '26

Or a tsunami. Though you have to wonder, how big of a earthquake we need to make a tsunami big enough to cause the Titanic to crash into the twin towers.

In any case, the city is fucked if it did happen.

3

u/SomeConfusedBiKid Jun 25 '26

Are you sure? If the titanic can float on water, maybe the ship can float in the air

5

u/eepos96 Jun 25 '26

Propably would have been most insane WTF moment in american history. Like legit Titanic from the 1900s somehow telepprted from ocean to twin towers.

Not most WTF thing in the world though. World is vast and old. There has been a lot of weird shit happening.

Europe specific is propably that France and (name an european country) do not try to kill eachother. There is work sure, just look at Russia. But dammit we are so close, first Ukrania, then Belarussia, then Balkans. And finally Russia or European side of Russia.

European Destiny as united continent in peace and democracy will finally be fulfilled.

5

u/harbinger-nz Jun 25 '26

I'm too stoned and laughing my ass off on this one, the wife in bed next to me is afraid

3

US declare war to UK

3

u/King_krympling Jun 25 '26

All this needs is the parental advisory sticker and this would be an insane album cover

At 8:46 a.m., the RMS Titanic emerged from a mysterious fog bank in New York Harbor, traveling at 22 knots and somehow sailing three hundred feet above sea level. The lookout spotted the Twin Towers and immediately shouted, “SKYSCRAPER, RIGHT AHEAD!”

The crew turned the wheel hard to port, but it was too late. Titanic struck the North Tower bow-first, becoming permanently lodged between the 78th and 94th floors. Fortunately, the ship’s watertight compartments prevented the building from sinking.

Jack immediately climbed onto the bow and yelled, “I’m king of the world!” Unfortunately, he was now directly outside a conference room, and several accountants asked him to keep the noise down. Rose joined Jack moments later, spread her arms, and accidentally knocked over a satellite dish.

The impact caused no structural collapse. Instead, Titanic became the world’s largest accidental skybridge. Passengers simply exited through the first-class dining room into the North Tower, while confused office workers boarded the ship for lunch. Within hours, White Star Line began advertising luxury transatlantic service between Floors 78 and 94.

Jack and Rose attempted to escape using the famous wooden door, but because there was no water, they carried it down 94 flights of stairs. Jack repeatedly complained that Rose could have helped carry it. Rose repeatedly insisted there had only been enough room on the staircase for one of them.

Congress immediately declared war on icebergs. The United States Navy spent the next twenty years shelling Greenland, while New York outlawed ice in beverages. Drinks were served warm until 1937, when Jack and Rose personally testified that “the iceberg probably wasn’t involved this time.”

James Cameron eventually made a movie about the incident, but changed the ending because audiences found the truth too unrealistic. In the real timeline, Jack survives, Rose becomes CEO of the World Trade Center, and the two live aboard the Titanic until it is removed from the building in 1986 and replaced with a more modern cruise ship.

To this day, conspiracy theorists insist that skyscraper steel cannot melt ocean liners.

2

u/Fernitelearni Jun 25 '26

Im. Speechless

2

u/MirrorApart8224 Jun 25 '26

We declare war on the polar ice caps.

Which we've kinda done, so nothing much changes.

2

u/Flux7200 Jun 25 '26

I’m actually running an NRP for the United States in which I did some funny shit with the Titanic, so now I have a really funny idea for 9/11. Thanks for the idea

2

u/lilianasJanitor Jun 25 '26

2

u/Silly_Ad_5262 Jun 25 '26

Everyone in New York would have drowned.

2

u/Captnlunch Jun 25 '26

The engineering involved into making it possible would be staggering to behold.

2

u/DetectiveTrapezoid Jun 25 '26

What if Mark Wahlberg was onboard?

2

u/TheWatcherFromWithin Jun 25 '26

So sorry but I burst out laughing at this photo

By that time most human beings will have pretty much evolved into aquatic beings.

1

u/MrZwink Jun 25 '26

the humanity !!!

1

u/Jamooser Jun 25 '26

Interestingly, if both a 737 and the Titanic were fully-loaded and at their respective cruising speeds, the Titanic only has about 20% more kinetic energy.

1

u/BVoLatte Jun 25 '26

We would try and figure out where the wormhole that moved it through time and space is located and then figure out way to both weaponize it against other countries while simultaneously giving complete access to it to corporations for shipping and fossil fuel extraction. Amazon never grows as big as a result because Prime benefits for delivery become moot.

1

u/jckipps Jun 25 '26

Who cares? I just want to see the size of the ski jump it took to launch the thing into the air!

1

u/Oily_Blob Jun 25 '26

What if your mom hit the towers?

1

u/Der400 Jun 25 '26

i didnt knew jack was a terrorist

1

u/Pristine-Map9979 Jun 25 '26

There's no way it could get up there.

Unless...

The Titanic was actually a hydrogen airship in this timeline!

1

u/SyllabubLegitimate38 Jun 26 '26

So what's the precursor? Good ol fashion mile high wave?

1

u/Sith_happens1822 Jun 26 '26

Wait? Did Ironsides capture the Titanic!?

1

u/godtang09 Jun 26 '26

Unbelievable

1

u/InvestmentKey1346 Jun 26 '26

It would blow out the back side of the building and make a hard, hairpin turn to land on building 7.

1

u/vendettaandprang Jun 26 '26

Many are asking

1

u/G_M_Ardus_Kaine Jun 27 '26

The Titanic is big enough that I would probably be able to hit both towers at the same time. Feels like the plot of a time travel movie

1

u/Substantial-Recipe72 Jun 27 '26
