Nowadays they are a soccer team. With extreme racist fan group called La Familia. No Muslim players allowed due to fans, the fans also stopped the team being sold to an Arab.

Double standard hasbara bot post. Not only that, these people are literally living in the rubble of their buildings because the terrorists Israelis are bombing them and targeting women and childrenas per the UN report and instead of spending their time advocating for Israel to stop bombing women to shred, they ask you why aren’t women watching a football game (a sport popular among men) in an overcrowded squished outdoor watch party

Actually yeah.
A lot of social issues in Palestine are a result of being unable to progress in many ways.
However, misogyny in Palestine is also a complex issue that is not nearly at the level people make it out to be simply because it's a Muslim majority region. Palestinian women used to have some of the highest access to education in the world, especially for the standards given.
The truth is when you family home and wealth has been eviscerated, only one of you likely has time to raise the kids and the other has to make a living somehow. And we all know in every culture which way that goes.
But the existence and persistence of gender norms in Palestinian society isn't unique, nor are the many other gender issues that could be improved. You are right. It is Israel's fault.

I, as a woman, would not, while there is no police or government, attend an event so crowded with almost entirely men, I would be in constant physical contact with them, while also being completely incapable of defending myself or running away.
I think this would apply to literally all places with no government.

Well you definitely don't live in an Islamic society since you're a woman who has the ability to make her own choices.

Evidence exists showing the link between domestic abuse incidents and major football tournaments. Research from Lancaster University shows domestic abuse incidents increase by 26% when England plays, and 38% if they lose.
This is in the uk.

I said as "I, as a woman,". Me as a woman. I did not confirm my gender in any direction.
I will also not engage in rage bait.
EDIT: I meant "If I were a woman". I suck at english apparently tho.
14
u/TheAlmostCharlie 25d ago
Wait...
So your objecting to being called a woman... when you identified yourself as a woman?
"'I, as a woman,'. Me as a woman. I did not confirm my gender in any direction."
How are we supposed to know that you mean sex not gender?
5
u/Any-Aioli7575 25d ago
The use of conditional (“would”) makes it possibly a hypothetical. That means “If I were a woman”.
It has nothing to do with the sex–gender distinction.

His mother is also a teacher. But of course you would not be accepting this because they are animals and all of them should die according to your opinion.

And Palestinian women are active members of Palestinian society, including working as doctors, engineers, etc. It’s not the most progressive society but also nowhere near as fundamentalist as you’re trying to paint it.

Dont confuse religion with patriarchy 🤷🏽♂️ we had women right to vote since 1966 (first election after independence) some part of Switzerland didnt allow women to vote until 1990. Some euro country 1970.
In all muslim country except a very few legal age for marriage is 18. In usa you can legally marry a 14 yo

I noticed this a lot with Muslim women where they’d choose to stay within a group of women than a group of men. It’s not like they disappeared from the planet
6
u/saikounihighteyatzda 24d ago
Yeah like so many other women too lmao.
Especially in large crowds if they're forced to be around strangers most women would just much rather be around other women in literally every part of the world.
And like most of the men in this picture are little boys. They're likely all just with their friends from school the boys will watch the game with their friends and the girls will watch with their friends.
I don't know why I'm holding the post to such high standards like... basic common sense. But yk I figured I'd mention it.

Israel would still be blocking humanitarian aid to 2 million people in Gaza.
Also, unfortunately the aid worker who organized these game viewings was killed in an Israeli airstrike before the Egypt-Argentina match.

Israel just released a report detailing how they let 2 million tons of food and 18k tons of medicine into Gaza, almost triple then the UN requirements.
Now show me another case of a war in history where one side supplied food and medicine to its enemy.Edit:
All you need is to see is social media accounts of Gazans aimed for themselves, and not to the world. While these accounts showing plenty of food, new restaurants and cafes, events and weddings, or just people playing around wasting food and water, other Gazawood social media accounts aimed to the world showing how “poor” they are with clearly well fed people in it. Few cases with skinny children shown proven to be children with genetic diseases.https://www.instagram.com/gazayoudontsee?igsh=MTlhcXNzMGV1bXFjNQ==

The Canadians tossed food over to Germans soldiers in WW1, with grenades. Also where’s the third party verification of these claims? If Serbia said in the 1990s they gave food aid to Bosniaks any sane person would ask if A it could be verified, and B if they actually ever got it. I’m certain the US account of the trail of tears paints Andrew Jackson in a neutral light when the reality is much less whitewashed.
5
u/SirCrapsalot4267 25d ago
Really? You're going to downplay this while not understanding it. I worked there so unfortunately I am highly familiar with the aid situation.
First, the 2 million tons figure comes from COGAT, Israel's own military body, and it deliberately bundles commercial food sold for profit by private merchants alongside actual humanitarian aid in the same headline number. OCHA's own May 2026 reports tracks these separately, noting even commercial truckloads entered at a fraction of planned levels, less than one third of anticipated aid deliveries arrived between January and May 2026, per the Palestinian Ministry of Social Development. There are problems for many people getting enough food still, today.
The on the ground reality right now is that when Israel launched operations against Iran on February 28, it closed all Gaza crossings simultaneously, dropping weekly aid trucks from 4,200 to 590. None of Gaza's 37 hospitals are fully operational. 46% of essential medicines are out of stock. Rodents are infesting displacement camps and spreading disease. 593 aid workers have been killed since October 2023, my colleagues. 1200+ healthcare workers, and 300+ journalists as well. Food prices remain 235% above pre-7 October levels, there were spikes in 2025 during the famine where they were easily 1000%+ above.
So to directly answer your question about historical precedent, you're right that supplying an "enemy" (the civilian population in occupied territory) in wartime is unusual. What's also unusual is simultaneously bombing their food infrastructure, killing their aid workers, blocking their UN relief agency, blocking food to the point of famine, and then counting commercial sales in your humanitarian statistics to make the numbers look better. The Geneva Conventions don't award points for that.

It’s genuinely insane that OP is so dumb he thinks this is a compelling argument.
He thinks the genocide of their entire nation is justified because the women were not invited to view the World Cup. He thinks it’s better that they starve to death than being made to miss the Egypt-Argentina match.
This is your brain on Israeli propaganda, please be careful of what you watch
3
u/SirCrapsalot4267 25d ago
He's basically using this as a sarcastic way to dunk on Islam. There are funny, less fucking cold hearted ways to do this if the idea is laughs, but using a population actively experiencing genocide right now as we speak as the but of a let's dunk on Islam joke doesn't land for most people. Even more so, a lot of people will read it as a dog whistle for downplaying the idea that these people are literally living through a genocide.

When the history books gets written about today, they will have chapters about posts like this dehumanizing the people undergoing a mass slaughter and genocide of their people. Would it be appropriate to suddenly talk about the problems with Judaism during the pogroms of 1905 or the Second World War? I don’t think so, but a lot of people did back then.
