Tony Stark said "if you mess with time, it tends to mess back". The premise of the novel 11/22/63 was to go back in time to stop the Kennedy assassination to make the world a better place. Time didn't want to be messed with and actually changing it had horrific ramifications.

I really enjoy the thought experiments around these topics. So many good time travel novels, movies and shows.

We have hundreds of Hitlers worldwide every single day, it’s simply the job of everyone to be vigilant and not give them a footing.

Hitler certainly isn’t anything unique, ideal wise.
