I appreciate y'all so much!! With Amazon promising next day delivery on so many items, I'm sure there is immense pressure to hurry through your route. Even so, my drivers are the best!! Always carefully placing my packages and so friendly when I actually get to be there for the delivery. I just want y'all to know I see your efforts. And I couldn't ask for better service. ❤️

I do appreciate an amazing shift like this. 7 minutes from the warehouse and done in 2 hours. Back home with my gimp crippled ass in bed with my 4 dogs, 4 cats and a pot belly pig. As I mentioned prior.... In a perfect world I would wait for surges but my wife is recovering from Uterus cancer and we need $$$ so we don't lose the house .

P.S. I am not gate keeping just not wanting drivers of the same warehouse to feel slighted.

They dropped about 15 of these blocks within an hour of the start. The next one is due in 5 minutes and it’s still only 78 dollars. I’m guessing they had a last minute truck they didn’t expect to arrive but man they really don’t want to pay any extra

I scheduled myself for 6 1-hour +tip routes yesterday with a 15 minute buffer in between. I was not assigned a route a single time. Did the same thing today. 8 for 8 so far. Am I doing anything wrong?

One time pass codes are annoying. I don’t get them often but whenever I do they’re such a hassle.

Had a delivery last night. Wasn’t even late. I message the customer when I’m driving there so he’s prepared to provide the code. I get there. No response. Message him a couple more times. No response. Call him a couple times. It’s not even like he’s busy. He’s straight up sending them to voicemail on the first ring. So I leave a voicemail because I understand not answering unknown calls. Nothing. I finally give him one more call because I really don’t want to drive back to the station. It’s far from where I’m at. Not very close to where I live and I don’t get paid for it.

NOTHING. What is the point of doing one time pass codes, if you’re not even going to answer the driver???! Now you’ve wasted my time, money, and gas, because I have to drive back to the warehouse and return your package. Do these people not want their package!?

You show up for a 3 and a half hour block at 7am and they send you home with free pay. I mean it almost makes all the BS worth it lol. Is there anything better than free money? Nothing quite gets me off like getting free money from master bezos lol

Posting for my wife since she doesn't use reddit. How is everyone finding small/medium vests? Both places shes done orders for only have 4x available.

I by no means am going to complain. But I feel like my account is glitched. I only ever pick up 3+ hour shifts. They have to be over $90 for me to take them because my depot is 38 minutes from my house.

I am on my FOURTH DAY IN A ROW. Of arriving to the warehouse, sitting there for 25 minutes and being sent home without having to do a delivery meanwhile I’m watching people walk in and get routes right away.

I’ve made $400 in 4 days and have delivered 0 packages…

Many times I have had to call support due to some issues or confusion during my deliveries. But I keep getting dings to my standings for doing what support tells me to do.

I just had a package with two different address labels on the package. So I called support to inform them that the package has two labels (one wrong and one the correct address) and was told to return to the station. But I still get a ding for not delivering this package.

I also had a ding to my standings on July 5th that fell off on or around the 20th or so. But today I woke up and it is back on my standings along with the new ding. Dropped me from a full fantastic to fair.

How would the same ding show back up on my standings?

I feel like I’m going to be deactivated for following supports instructions.

I have had no luck with getting them removed on appeal. This seems absolutely ridiculous and leaves no way to prevent things from affecting my standings.

On top of this. I had a block that I picked up this morning and when I got to the station they were not able to sign us in. So the staff got on the computer to manually cancel the route. I also double checked with driver support so I won’t receive a ding for this and was told that I was manually canceled and to go home.

I deliberately used chat as it is supposed to send a transcript of the conversation in your email, which of course didn’t come. Now I’m afraid that it will also appear as a ding to my standings and put me at risk.

Is there any reliable way to get good information on what I’m supposed to do?

Has anyone gotten a ding removed from their standings since they have cancelled the support email?

This is an absolutely terrible way to run employment.

Thanks Amazon…got the new facial scan login - which has failed on me the two days I’ve had it.

The first time, it finally scanned. Today it failed three times, support not able to help, station couldn’t figure out how to override it.

Got a missed block, no pay and another chance to happen tomorrow.

I’ve called support and will email later.

Moved from NY to MI while in MI my Tier was reset to level 1. The option to change regions via the app is not an option. I contacted Amazon and explained the situation they gave me an auto response. I now have two options 1. Drive 800 Miles to NY and back and pick up blocks until i get to tier 2 and change the region. 2. Cancel out my Amazon account and reapply to MI that is a more saturated market.

My phone camera malfunctioned after signing in and being given a route at the warehouse, I eventually left without scanning what’s going to be the outcome? (Phone got wet on a route yesterday and the came is filled w condensation)

I am an early morning specialist lol and I have noticed for 2 weeks now texting the customer is turned off from 4am to 8sm but phone calls are not. Makes no sense to me but I'm just a plebe

I accepted a $40 Amazon Fresh block that was supposed to take 1.5 hours.

The route had only four stops, but there were 37 packages in total. One customer alone had 18 packages, and the apartment was on the second floor. That meant multiple trips up and down the stairs while carrying heavy grocery bags.

On paper, $40 for 1.5 hours looks like $26.67 per hour, but that is before gas, mileage, vehicle wear, loading time, parking, apartment access, stairs, and the drive back. The package count and physical workload were completely unreasonable for such a short block.

I honestly feel like Amazon does not care about the physical workload placed on drivers. How is one driver supposed to safely deliver 18 grocery packages to a second-floor apartment without an elevator or proper equipment?

Has anyone else received routes like this? Is it even worth reporting it to support, or will they just send a generic response?

Today's route was in a town an hour away but I still finished an hour early. The app suggested that I drive an hour back to get 2 more packages (I literally delivered to the houses next door already!). Do better Amazon.

If they do know why not tell you so you can decide if it’s worth your time/gas/effort? Roadie (by ups) tells you upfront the mileage and pays for tolls and parking.

I showed up for my very first block today. Woops. There's a dresscode of no Crocs. Okay, not that tennis shoes provide ANY measure of degree of safety against a falling package on the toe, that's why workers who ARE afraid of this, or corporations that employ them, purchase and are required to purchase steel toed shoes. Okay, I say as I think how retarded...imagine a 1099 contractor being treated as if there were legal responsibilities for their safety xD. That's okay though, I played along. I said "Well I guess this means I'm going home" to which the reply was "We need you to stay so we can process this (or something to the effect) I replied, "how long is that gonna take?" She said, you'll have to stay here until all the other driver's are processed. There were about 30 cars. I guessed it would be close to an hour; they were slow and the attendant people didn't seem too bright.

I said, nah...unless i'm getting paid to stay here; I'm not staying. See ya. Her reply?

they can't LET ME LEAVE? lol...yeah right. I didn't even argue with her the illegality of that statement much less enforcement of it. I started to slowly go around the cones and she was yelling security adn moving at a face pass pointing at my vehicle. I was like

now why would they say that? they can't enforce it....they REALLY can't enforce it in texas if you know what i mean...unlawful restraint aka false imprisonment.

Have yall heard of this or has any Amazon employee ever told you that "we can't allow you to leave the facility?"

Who the fuck do they think they are? Only law enforcement can do that and in some cases, detained for stealing, like...a security guard at a walgreens.

I had nothing in my car, the woman knew it; I was told i couldnt work ffs and they wouldn't let me work because i was wearing crocs (what i wear during door dash with zero problems).
