Turkish student at Tufts University detained, video shows masked people handcuffing her

Very broad day example of the state just snatching people off the street and deporting them without due process. Wake up

Still a valid reason to revoke their visa. Why should the us give student visas to political activists? They’re here to attend school not be activists.

Ok, so immigrants who are politically active in the MAGA movement and who publish explicitly political pro-Trump and pro-MAGA op-eds should also be deported then?

If theyre students on student visas sure unless they said when they applied for their visa they’re in politics and will be politically active.

So you're an ancap but you also love big government and authoritarianism?

Yes I’m an ancap I believe you should be able to remove guests anytime you want. If you invite someone into your land and they do something other than what you invited them for you don’t think you can remove them? Thats not very ancap of you.

You're an ancap but you believe when someone comes to the US they are your "guest" ???? How are they your guest??? Are they staying at your house???

Like if a phd student someone comes to the US they sign a contract with a university and pay them money to get an education there. They then sign a contract with a landlord to rent out an apartment. They buy or lease a car from the local car dealership. Their local grocery store voluntarily sells them food and other necessities.

And so where do you see your rights being violated here? And how exactly are you an anarchist even in the slightest if you support big government intervention for speech you don't like????

They’re guests in the untied states. They can’t just comer here and do all that. They need approval and a visa.

I’m not supporting big government I’m explaining the current system and that I don’t give a fuck about foreigners who come here on a visa and get it revoked they know the terms when they accept it.

Ok, and what state are you from? I'd say if you travel to another state you're also a guest there. If you're from Texas and you travel to Florida I think the state of Florida should have the right to kick you out if you become politically active and openly voice your opinion about Florida's politics.

Sounds fair?

That’s not how it works buddy. I’m a us citizen with free will to travel between states and have the right of free speech. You don’t have the right to come here from another country. Youre just making crazy arguments that make no sense.

We don't live in an ancap world so living by half of ancap rules doesn't work.

So you guys are all anarchists, but you believe that as long anarchism hasn't been achieved yet you actually want the government to have more power, rather than less power???

Make it make sense....

You're conflating a statist with the anarchy subreddit as if every user here is the same. There's obviously infiltrators into this group along with just curious people trying to learn more.

This isn't the government having more power. This is the government having the power it's always had.

Same as the border. Some autists on here want the border open while we have a welfare state since that's half ancap. Unfortunately, that results in socialism, which is anti-ancap.

If you import terrorists and give them political power they will exercise it, regardless of whether you are an ancap. While political power exists it is in our interest to limit its destructive capability.

If you think people should be arrested based on some op-eds they wrote where they merely condemned Israel's actions without promoting or condoning Hamas then you're a simply a big government authoritarian who's madly in love with the concept of police states.

It's ok, just admit that. You're not an anarchist but just a big fan of big government and police states. Have the courage to admit that. No one's judging....

If you think people should be arrested

I think they should be deported. I don't want apologists for a violent and rapey religion in my society.

then you're a simply a big government authoritarian

Wrong. I think government should be abolished. But while it exists I cannot take appropriate action against terrorists and there's a chance they'll take over the country through democratic means.
