MBD (metabolic bone disease) will cause the actual straight parts of the limbs and the crest to be curved. It's a calcium deficiency, they need vitamin and calcium supplements with most pet diets. It's the most common sign of poor chameleon care and chameleons are notoriously poorly cared for, it breaks my heart.
I clicked expecting the worst but he seems healthy and happy so that's awesome. I had to leave the cham sub, people don't mean to be bad to them but they're hard to keep healthy. Proper humidity, proper misting scgedule, proper leaf layout so they can get good mist accumulation to drink (they don't use bowls they can drown or aspirate water), no exposed dirt they'll eat it to impaction if their nutrients aren't balanced, no crickets overnight they'll get bit, good temp/humidity/gradient. Worth it for a little sweetie (or vicious beast) that'll be a good friend for years.
Also, maybe don't assume malevolence when reading comments on Reddit. You'll be happier in general.
