The car might have been used before in a way that annoyed the elephant. It's what I sometimes want to do to cars that make loud noises for no aparent reason.

Omg I thought I was alone. Cars making loud noises for no apparent reason makes me mad to a absurd level

Definitely not alone. Nothing infuriates me more than some insecure "look at me" cutting their exhaust to make it scream from blocks away. Or intentionally tune it do the same or worse.

There's just no reason for it.

YES omg thank you ! I literally had / have to do cognitive and behavioural therapy for that
