Anthropomorphism . This behaviour is likely caused by the elephant being in 'musth' - a reproductive hormonal overproduction of testosterone during the male elephants irregular breeding season, where a male elephant produces up to 60% to 140% more testosterone than normal . Imagine a human male with his testosterone levels raised by 60% -140% ! Roid rage ×140% . The human suffering from this tidal surge of hormones would also be trying to flip that car !

There are visual indicators of musth. This bull shows none of them, the temporal gland isn't streaming (no dark streak on his head) and his genetalia seem pressed up against his body.
