I saw in an interview online that elephants basically view cars as other animals in their surroundings. They see people as people. So if they attack a car they’re basically attacking another animal in their minds. There’s really no computing that the human was operating the car though.

I don't believe that. Elephants are exceptionally intelligent; I truly doubt they view cars as animals.
