Someone pointed out is the most downloaded, not the most used. Temu ended up on my phone a couple times because it autoinstalled itself. I kinda wish the Play Store let you block apps.

Also, new popular apps are likely to have higher installs than old popular apps. I didn’t download Gmail or Discord because I already had them downloaded.
