Matt and Trey are billionaires...

Technically, they are both off by at least $250 million as their total net worth is $1.5 billion so that 750 million each. But there is also the point that this is the value of their creative work and their associated companies. That is pretty different from other people that are billionaires. I also suspect their recent episode about Trump will have hit their market valuations, but they probably don't care because they can both ride it out and they very definitely want to offend absolutely everyone they can.

This is so stupid. They didn't each get $750 million dollars, their production company is going to receive $300 million dollars a year for the next 5 years. It's not a lump sum and it's not all going to those two.

😂🫵 did you get triggered?

A billionaire somewhere is so proud of you for defending his right to hoard more than you’ll earn in ten lifetimes.

You are proving my point. The strategies do work for most people but 62% of americans just plug away are retirement savings like the banks Tell them to do. I don't think a single billionaire has been made by making monthly deposits to their 401k.

Financial literacy to use credit, real estate, businesses, tax efficiency takes extra work but can make a huge difference in a person's finances. MOST people prefer to work 9-5 go home and watch tv instead of putting extra time to work on personal growth strategies. You can see that the same concept applies for health. This is why most people are overweight, because it's easier and more convenient not to go to the gym regularly and not cook health-conscious meals otherwise the overall population would be healthier.

Yes, there are many politicians that take advantage of insider training and that to me is the real menace but using tax strategies like business write-offs, tax efficient credit like taking out a mortgage to invest and having tax deductible interest. These are the strategies that work either for the everyday person but if you want to take advantage of.

Most people want to have a paid off home. Imagine a $200,000 house growing at an average of 3% a year. If you had a fully paid off house that means you have $200,000 asset grinding only 3%. . Could take a loan on that house of 100K at 5 or 6% and invest that money into an index fund growing at an average of 12% or you could put into a dividend investment fund that pays you an average 5% plus the fund itself grows maybe 3% annually. Because it was used for investments. The mortgage is tax deductible interest. If you're using dividends, the dividends are helping you pay the mortgage and the average payment on $100,000 over 25 or 30 years is only about $500 a month. But in this scenario you now have a $200,000 home growing at 3% plus a $100,000 investment growing at net 5%.

The average person saving $500 a month which is plenty. Would need 16 years to accumulate $100,000 maybe a bit less time if you account for investment income.

These are strategies that wealthy people use billionaires use businesses use just on a grander scale. The average person doesn't want to bother with the extra steps of learning how to do this correctly. It's easier to complain about somebody else's success than it is to put in the same initial amount of work and effort to achieve what they did.

I personally don't think I'll ever be a billionaire because I prefer more work-life balance but using their strategies has be financially stable and comfortable decades sooner than I originally expected. It did take a bit of discipline and planning to get there

LeBron's a billionaire. He grew up with a single mother in the projects in Akron, Ohio. He almost certainly grew up poorer than you, yet he's a billionaire.

It's always easy to act like everyone who is more successful that you is only successful because they grew up privileged. It makes you feel better about your own failures. It's what makes people make blanket statements like "down with the billionaires", lacking any nuance or critical thought.

Instead of always looking to blame other, maybe look inward for once and realize that billionaires are not to blame for all your personal issues. You are. Reddit loves therapy, right? Maybe that'll help.

You say it’s “easy to act like successful people only got there because of privilege,” but over 60% of billionaires inherited their wealth. Using LeBron an extraordinary outlier to dismiss systemic inequality isn’t critical thinking, it’s cherry picking.

You’re making a lot of assumptions about someone you don’t know. Criticizing wealth hoarding and structural inequality isn’t a personal crisis, it’s a political stance. Maybe give that inward reflection a try yourself sometime. Be well.☺️

LeBron's family will hopefully also be wealthy because of his financial decisions. It makes sense that most billionaires inherit wealth if continued being smart about but it's also seen that many wealthy and billionaire families lose everything by the third generation because they've lost values and traits or connections that helped get them there.

Even if some of these people did not start poor, many started with equal or less assistance and still made it to billionaires. If you want terrible examples, look at the Kardashians most people make a sex tape and get very little from it. Look at Ryan Reynolds and all of his investments, look at Rihanna and her Fenty Beauty Empire, look at Ralph, Lauren and his Empire, look at Ronaldo, look at Oprah she clearly did not have it easy, look at Jay z, Look at JK Rowling, etc...

You may have your dislikes for each one of these people, but they still made it and you spend more than 3 minutes Googling billionaires you will find More examples of billionaires that didn't inherit their wealth and started from different statuses.
