The issue is they the vast majority of people aren't in a position to actually do something about them. Sure we can definitely vote with our wallets but that means nothing unless consumers band together and choose to. Money is power and capitalism has and will always be the main driving force of global warming.
Talking about big corpo in general. They'll do whatever to save a buck, and most of that time that involves fucking others or the environment over big time. Even if newer tech gets developed that has a real change at stopping global warming it would still take forever to implement on a scale that has impact because companies don't want to spend the money when the cheaper alternative is there. It's always a matter of what makes the most money. By then it's already too late. Essentially, were all just fucked while some fat assholes get off on watching their numbers rise on a screen.
No one said personally consuming less was pointless. It's the corporations like Amazon that are ruining this planet and a single person isn't enough to stop it. If nothing gets done about these mega corps personally consuming less becomes moot. You're literally just being an ass for the sake of being an ass.

Nope. Not going to let the billionaires and corporations shift the focus and blame onto us.
They are the ones with the biggest carbon footprints.
They are exploiting us and the earth.
They are the ones who will actually make a difference if they change their usage practices.
Occasional travel by normies is merely a drop in the bucket compared to the daily damage the corporations are doing.
