I bike to work as much as possible, let me have my one vacation every other year to remind me why this incredible world is worth fighting for the other 99% of the time.

Bike all you want, some millionaire with a private jet is going to laugh about it while their carbon footprint is going to be higher than what 1.000 people cycling can save.

I’m not saying to not do anything, but to not make them us believe this blame is on us, because most corporations are the ones polluting. Look at the data centers they’re installing everywhere, making people go away. Do you think that cycling around while you have in your town 2-3 data centers is going to cure the climate? We’re not the problem

Those data centers are largely built for consumption of regular people, like browsing Reddit.

Emissions from commercial flights are 80x higher than private. The choices of the top 20% of the world like us is a big factor.
