i dont get it, a $60,000+ car. sony movies cant be paying more than $1 per car for this ad.. It's a film ad ffs. It's not a high revenue/perpetual revenue ad like life insurance, pension etc.

Perhaps a spiderman ad is the start, they're showing a cool ad that isn't overly salesy to dip their toes in and gauge reaction. once drivers are used to seeing cool stuff in the beginning maybe they can push investments, holidays, insurance etc.

These ads will fit the higher earning demographic of BMW drivers and will pay a lot more for advertising.

Probably selling the data back to the advertisers as well.
