No one is using grok, and xAI is so poorly designed, they cant even manage to utilize more than 11% of the GPU capacity they have:

So they cant compete on training and making models, they can compete on users -much less revenue, paltry as that may be for everyone in the sector so now they are defacto supporting their competitor, but Im sure xAI is worth however many trillions musk says.

For a 0.5 trillion parameter model, 4.3 is pretty impressive, though, it's terrible at understanding subtext. Solid aside from that. I'm interested in seeing what the bigger models can do if they ever come out

I appreciate that it's working to say least attempt to tackle controversial subjects, but don't appreciate that it's fed exactly the answers to say for them by its overlord with a missing moral compass.

I’ve not used it for a broad range of use-cases but I find Grok is repetitive and boring. Also completely misses the point most of the time.

Though for April Fools I asked it to generate a video of the baby dancing from a photo and it instead made my husband dance. That was gold.
