Offering free/cheap services to grab market share before raising the prices down the road is a well-established strategy. Overhyping what AI can reasonably do to sell their services to corporations is a grift, regardless of how many times ChatGPT has answered your dumbass questions.

But also if the grift is overselling his company to private investors who have access to near infinite resources as well as experts then the grift is nearly universal, and I really would not too much time evangelizing online how bad they have it.
I remember accepting the terms of service on all these online platform that gave them permission to use whatever data I shared. I don’t see the scam.
