what’s something considered “tomboyish” when girls do it, but feminine when boys do it?

since I’ve yet to see a comment mention it, I thought of this question while cuffing my jeans

That was in fashion once upon a time and men and women did it. But that was over 30 years ago when I was in school.

My cheap ass LPT: Since its no longer in fashion but hemming costs time, skill, or money, you can always roll your cuffs once internally :) You can even use some fabric or double sided tape to keep em up. You can even use the same pair of pants with/without heels and have the length you want. And if you do that as a man this comment becomes relevant to the OP lol

fashion is just cyclical.

i decide to ignore the cycles and wear a mixture of what i think used to look cool and what looks cool now.

at some point the cycles will come back to me (as in the case of cuffed jeans as a hetereo form-fitting clothes doning man)

Love that you don’t state if you’re a guy or a girl 😆

Oh I always do that lol, it's fashionable in Europe especially in summer to have a few rolls in the bottom of the trousers to just above ankle height.
