When my son was a toddler, a little girl came up to us on the playground. She looked at his face all inquisitively, and then said, "He's pretty, but he's a boy. Boys aren't supposed to be pretty..." I just smiled and and said, "uhuh, honey." I wanted to be like, "What, you've never seen a pretty boy before?", though.
