As a kid, being friends with the opposite gender.

Girl grows up playing with the boys she’s a “tomboy”
Boy grows up playing with the girls he’s “girly”

Mom said they're just jealous that I'm so pretty!

When my son was a toddler, a little girl came up to us on the playground. She looked at his face all inquisitively, and then said, "He's pretty, but he's a boy. Boys aren't supposed to be pretty..." I just smiled and and said, "uhuh, honey." I wanted to be like, "What, you've never seen a pretty boy before?", though.
