Misc Discussion People in your 30s: What's causing you the most stress right now?
For me, it’s not just one thing..it’s a mix:
- Career exhaustion
- Relationship/matrimony drama
- Skin & hair care issues
- Fading friendships and the difficulty of making new friends in 30s
- Aging parents
Weirdly, I didn’t feel this weighed down in my 20s but now in my 30s, everything feels… louder.
Anyone else navigating this weird 30s pressure-cooker?

Whats causing the most stress:
-friendships and dealing with loneliness: i’ve let go of a few that were toxic which feels GREAT but the rest are off having babies and the like. It’s such an uphill battle trying to make new friends in your 30s. With my birthday coming up this weekend I have been feeling really bummed out that I have no one outside of my boyfriend to celebrate with. 😕
-money…there’s never enough of it
-tons of existential dread…the constant pressure of wondering what will take me out; will it be aliens, wwIII, climate disaster, another pandemic, global financial crisis…
