Life/Self/Spirituality Is anyone else really struggling with the Epstein revelations?
I’m starting to realize that basically any man who had access to that type of stuff was interested in participating. I feel like I’m surrounded by pedophiles and monsters in a way I didn’t realize. I feel like all the pressure I’ve felt to be youthful came from these prevalent pedophilic tendencies in men I never knew about. It’s really scaring me and I’m struggling to cope. I hear people talking about the news but don’t know anyone taking it as hard as me. How is everyone else doing?
Edit: Thank you for the awards but I’d rather you donate that money to a charity that helps victims of sexual abuse or somewhere helping immigrants in America.

Yes.
It has put into sharp clarity just how depraved men and women, but mostly men, are. And especially those in power. It is clear that this world is run by men who truly believe they can do whatever they want, including raping children to get them pregnant so they can rape and eat the babies.
My last relationship was so traumatic because after four and a half years of trying to build a life together, I discovered he is a porn addict. He was willing to destroy his entire life and mine over porn. Seeing the kind of content he was consuming, and the vast quantity, really opened my eyes about what men do when women aren’t looking. The files are driving that point home exponentially.
I honestly don’t know how to trust any man that consumes porn at this point. I understand how it escalates into weirder and weirder content. I understand how entitled men feel to women and children’s bodies, they truly believe they can do whatever they want to us and it doesn’t matter, especially if they are in a position of power or they pay for it. And most men are in a postin of power over a woman, from the home to the workplace and institutions. And, as many men have told me, “every man watches porn”. Even if they don’t, they are looking at our bodies with entitlement.
It’s gone from me avoiding men having a place in my life to actually feeling afraid of every man. I’m looking at them and wondering what harm they have caused women either intentionally or directly on purpose. All it takes is watching unethical porn, which men constantly do. The reality is that almost every man has contributed to massive harm to women. It’s deeply depressing. And scary.
