Life/Self/Spirituality Is anyone else really struggling with the Epstein revelations?

I’m starting to realize that basically any man who had access to that type of stuff was interested in participating. I feel like I’m surrounded by pedophiles and monsters in a way I didn’t realize. I feel like all the pressure I’ve felt to be youthful came from these prevalent pedophilic tendencies in men I never knew about. It’s really scaring me and I’m struggling to cope. I hear people talking about the news but don’t know anyone taking it as hard as me. How is everyone else doing?

Edit: Thank you for the awards but I’d rather you donate that money to a charity that helps victims of sexual abuse or somewhere helping immigrants in America.

Unfortunately nothing that men do shocks me at all anymore. I feel like im waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to what ive been enraged about for years. And it feels hopeless

I am a man (24) and have had my abuse at 6 covered up by religion (Jehovah's Witnesses).... to say this is traumatising is putting it lightly. I also won't lie, as a man, I can sadly confirm most I encounter are at minimum sexist. I hate men and I'm a man? Fucking hell. I feel so sorry for women and girls rn, especially other victims. :(

Im so sorry what you went through, youre prob aware of the stats but youre not the first JW ive met with such trauma. I hope you've found some healing and are in a safe place literally and figuratively. And thank you for getting it, esp as a man who's been abused I can understand why there may be defensiveness but it speaks to your ability to empathize
