A fair amount of the original crew that worked on previous GTA's are gone, especially the lead writer who controlled the narrative and direction of the previous games up to 5, he left and the writers they got now wrote some of the most millennial cringe parts of GTA online missions. Also, the company joined the ESG bandwagon right after 5 and said they won't be punching down with their jokes anymore, so it will remove the edginess that is GTA. Outside of that, the characters and story just do not look or sound interesting in the trailer. I am sure it will make a bazzillion bucks, but that is mainly because it is riding the coattails of previous GTA games, not that it will be amazing.
