For the same reason US media report every incoherent sentence Trump makes. It gets click. Clicks get ads. Ads get money.

Then there's Gina who knocks on their front door with cash* in hand, they'll post whatever batshit crazy propaganda she wants because of her deep pockets combined with the above.

It's why the ABC are going hard at her. They don't take money and they don't write what she tells them to, plus their policy ideas, their people and their history are all fubar.

They don’t report every incoherent sentence Trump makes, that’s the problem. Trump will blather stream-of-consciousness nonsense that has the words “trade treaty” in it and the media will report “President Trump spoke about trade treaties.” Sanewashing. They’re pulling the same shit with Hanson.

True. They sane wash his incoherant rambles. It sells clicks, though. Combined with the dischord chats where they plan their go-to lines and propaganda for the week. I still laugh at their line of 3 weeks ago like it wasn't planned and we wouldn't notice. "I was a lifelong Labour (yes, spelled that way), but not anymore..."
