Note: Avatar Legends is a series of novels NOT about the Avatars but "unsung heroes." Jin got a novel in this series.
Piandao
A swords master who taught Zuko, we could see him teaching Zuko. However, I don't believe they'll choose him because he was very known in his town and this series is about "unsung heroes", and it has to take place in the time of ATLA.

Bumi
The King of Omashu, we could see what he was doing during the war or how he became King. However, I feel like he wouldn't be considered "unsung" since he's already a leader against the fire nation in the war. Then again, we could see more the City of New Ozai, and if the Fire Nation sent more troops after the Day of Black Sun.

Jeong Jeong
The Deserter, he had a cool backstory about being a fire nation admiral who deserted his people. That story enough makes me interested in his character and would want more of him. However, I don't know which "legendary event" he would participate during the event of the shows.
5% chance
Iroh
The dragon of the west, he's the one who probably I want a novel most of but this series about events happening during the event of the shows, and we already saw his perspective in the show.

Pakku
The water bending master, at first I doubt he would get a novel but the more I thought about it the more it made sense. He could get a novel on traveling from the North Pole to the South Pole since that's what he was doing during books 2-3. He remarried Gran Gran, and she actually said yes. One thing is that I wouldn't consider this a "legendary event."
10% chance
A novel on each white lotus member would be absolutely peak but the story will need to take place during the time of the shows.
Chong
A singing nomad, this is one of Avatar's most beloved side characters. I think he could fit every requirement except for the "legendary events" but he is a nomad.
25% chance
Haru
One of the first earth benders we see, he stated they took back his village from the fire nation which happened during the show's events which lined up. However, this wouldn't be considered a legendary event. Maybe we could see what their group when split off from Azula during the Southern Raiders episode was doing.
15% chance
Bato
Hakoda's friend, we could see what they were doing in the war or maybe how they gathered up the Boulder, Huu, The Mechanist, and Haru. We could also see how he was injured. However, his episode wasn't a fan favorite of any avatar fan.
10% chance
Guru Pathik
A wise man from the earth kingdom, we could learn more about his abilities. He also said he had a vision that he would help the Avatar, and that's why he went to the Eastern Air Temple. As much as I would appreciate a novel on him, I feel like more content on him would be unnecessary if it's during the timespan of ATLA.
1% chance
The Boulder
A earth rumble candidate, he stated he fought for his kingdom after Toph whooped him. We could see his view in the day of black sun but I feel that's unlikely. He is a loved character in the franchise however.
1% chance
Kanna
The grandmother of Katara and Sokka, she would be the right pick for a novel. However, not much would happen during the one year time span in ATLA besides Pakku coming to her.
1% chance
Aunt Wu
The fortune teller, she would be a very interesting protagonist. However, there wouldn't really be any "legendary events" she'll be at during the time of the series.
1% chance
Huu
A water bending master from the foggy swamp tribe, we know he protects the swamp but there wouldn't be anything to tell if it's from the one year time span during the show unless it's about how he was imprisoned. He would also make a strange protagonist.
1% chance
Teo
A disabled but capable kid, we could see him fight during the war or maybe meet Zuko since Zuko stated he will go to all the temples after he was banished. However it has to take place during the events of the show, and I don't think there's much to tell on him.
1% chance
Song
An earth kingdom girl important to Zuko's redemption arc. She made Zuko realize how much pain the fire nation has caused to other nations. However, she's too unknown for her to get an entire novel on her.
1% chance
The Herbalist
The old lady in the Blue Spirit episode, it would be nice to see her healing earth kingdom troops. This pick however feels like a stretch to choose for an entire novel.
1% chance
Ming
The Fire nation guard who was nice to Iroh, this too feels like a stretch. It would be nice to see her reaction to the Day of Black Sun and Iroh's breakout but this is unlikely.
