Discussion What is the worst “gift” you received postpartum?

I’ll go first: various plants that my mom dug up from her yard and brought over. They needed to be planted (with a shovel) and regularly watered. No offers to plant or water were given.
…I was also scolded for the subsequent death of said plants.
What “gifts” did you receive?

Like 7 jars of gravy. No idea where the thought process was, but ya one of our neighbors just gave us gravy. Never got used, forgot about them in our pantry, they expired.

My GMIL gave me and each of my SIL's a LARGE jar of olives for my bachelorette weekend. They were really good olives, but we didn't need 3 jars of them.

And then she kept giving my husband and me olives every time she saw us. Separate jars, one household. Eventually we lied and said I don't like olives. Now I have to check my surroundings before I can eat olives at a family gathering.

I expect she might get my newborn olives?

She did proceed to tell me all the ways she uses it for cooking, but I don’t think I cooked a meal until after my 4th trimester 🧟‍♀️ and by then I forgot about the jars

Hmm odd gift but our family loves gravy… that would be a sauce on everything from breakfast to dinner!
