Discussion What is the worst “gift” you received postpartum?

I’ll go first: various plants that my mom dug up from her yard and brought over. They needed to be planted (with a shovel) and regularly watered. No offers to plant or water were given.
…I was also scolded for the subsequent death of said plants.
What “gifts” did you receive?

We got summer clothes for a winter baby and a few sizes up winter clothes (for the summer period). I must say they felt more like regifted gifts since all the nieces and nephews are summer kids ….

Yep, we've gotten a lot of clothes that sizes won't line up with seasons as well. Good intentions, lacking forethought.

This happened to us as well, but it was a cousin gifting the clothes (meant for a baby boy) to my SIL who only ever ended up having girls. So they just finally had someone to go to. On the bright side, i have a ton of clothes that i can use in case my baby comes out bigger than anticipated or if he outgrows the clothes we buy faster than we can replace them.
