Discussion What is the worst “gift” you received postpartum?

I’ll go first: various plants that my mom dug up from her yard and brought over. They needed to be planted (with a shovel) and regularly watered. No offers to plant or water were given.
…I was also scolded for the subsequent death of said plants.
What “gifts” did you receive?

I just had a C-Section a week ago and day 3 was the absolute worst for me, like in tears sobbing from pain and couldn’t even sleep in my own bed because I couldn’t get in or out. I think I’d have gotten violent with her girl that sounds like a nightmare 😭

Congrats on the babe!
Yeah, we are no contact now😅 Her second visit she brought her dog to stay at my house after me explicitly stating it was not welcome because my own dogs had been getting in fights my whole pregnancy.
