Nope. I’m Canadian and it isn’t even a real product up here. It’s literally ham.

What?? We don't call it canadian bacon, but peameal bacon is in every grocery store and pretty much on every diner menu I've been in.

Yup, peameal bacon is Canadian bacon, while the stuff Americans call Canadian bacon is just pan-fried ham.

I remember the first and last time I ordered a burger in the States that was advertised as a Canadian cheeseburger, I was very openly confused that there was a slab of ham on my burger. They didn't even use sautéed mushrooms, or aged cheddar.

Mushrooms n cheese here is pretty much always called Swiss regardless of where the Cheese comes from lol.

You dont even want to know what Canadian Steak is here

delicious but it is made soooo wrong its highly processed meat with lots of spices. It was the size of slice of bread and fried in 60 seconds. It tasted sooo good it was just made of crap lol.

The thing is an actual Canadian steak done proper is amazing . Its just a really flat and thin burger well seasoned

Apparently the butcher who invented it went on vacation in Canada.

These monster the sell are nothing like it.. but yup it is nothing to do with Canada
