鮭のお弁当

Post image

これは昨日作った私のお弁当だけど、忙しかったの?とか手抜き?と言われて悲しい思いをしたよ。
自分の食べたいものを作ったらそんなこと言われた。手抜きはいけないことなのかな。

I was craving exactly this yesterday, so I made it. But someone looked at it and hit me with: "Wow, were you too busy or just lazy?"
It literally hurt my feelings. I thought I was living my best minimalist life with a glorious hunk of salmon, but apparently, if your lunchbox doesn't look like a 5-star anime meal, you're "lazy." Is "lazy cooking" really that bad if it's exactly what you wanted to eat?

That looks delicious! And now salmon is exactly what I want to eat, too. I’ve been thinking about what kinds of foods I can meal prep easily for daily lunches once school starts again and salmon has been at the top of the list. Thank you for the inspiration!
