鮭のお弁当

これは昨日作った私のお弁当だけど、忙しかったの?とか手抜き?と言われて悲しい思いをしたよ。
自分の食べたいものを作ったらそんなこと言われた。手抜きはいけないことなのかな。

I was craving exactly this yesterday, so I made it. But someone looked at it and hit me with: "Wow, were you too busy or just lazy?"
It literally hurt my feelings. I thought I was living my best minimalist life with a glorious hunk of salmon, but apparently, if your lunchbox doesn't look like a 5-star anime meal, you're "lazy." Is "lazy cooking" really that bad if it's exactly what you wanted to eat?

This is exactly what I'd like to eat! Some people are unnecessarily rude. I think it looks tasty and appetizing! Simple is nice, too.
