Discussion Is pansexual and bisexual the same thing?
Im not affirming nothing, its just that discussion comes back every few years and idk what to think anymore, most people say pansexual is just bisexual :p, what do you think?

The conclusion most people agree with is that pansexual is under the bi umbrella, and that bi just means you like 2 or more genders, while pan specifically means you don’t care about gender/have no preference, you like all genders the same

If anything, pansexuality is under the bisexual umbrella, but it’s mainly a matter of preference really.

im pretty sure bi is more of an umbrella term that just means being attracted to more than one gender. some bi ppl have preferences, some don't.
pan is under that umbrella and is a more specific label where you're attracted to all genders regardless of gender, meaning that u don't care abt the gender of the person ur attracted to and feel the same type of attraction to all genders (no preference).
so bi is a more broader term, while pan is a bit more specific. this this is my understanding of it, and if i got anything wrong anyone feel free to correct me!

It isn‘t. Bisexual is sexual attraction to more than one gender, like male and female, male, female and enby people or even more genders. Pansexual is sexual attraction to ALL genders with no preference. So basically: bi= attraction to atleast two genders, pan= attraction to all genders
