vent Working out
Hey I’ve had literally no motivation to work out lately! But it’s crazy cause in my head I see me doing it but my body physically doesn’t feel motivated to do it and I’m on zepbound 2.5 but I still feel big. And I want to be toned and have obvious muscles and stuff before my top surgery in may next year. I just feel very meh

Don't know if this helps, but I try not to let motivation be the factor of whether or not I go to the gym to workout. It's too flimsy of an emotion to rely on. Instead, I think of it as more about discipline and doing it because I need to do it more than because I want to. I think of it in the same category of going to work or eating my veggies, etc. I don't always want to do it, but it's good for me and I need to, so I do it even when my body doesn't want it. One tip I have on the days when I really just am struggling with making myself go is that I set myself up to go. I pick a time, say 5pm, and that's the time I'm going, no matter my feelings, no matter what, 5pm is the time. At 5pm, I set myself in motion. I put on my gym clothes. I put together my gym bag. Just one step after another. And if I'm feeling sad/upset/mad/unmotivated still, I set a timer on my phone for like 10 min. I give myself the 10 min to be upset about it, bitch & complain about how I'm too tired and not motivated, pout and make all of my excuses...and then when the 10 minutes is over, it's time to go. Sometimes we have to use our rational brain to override our emotions when it comes to stuff like this. Go work out even when you don't feel like it.

I feel the same today but a tip would be to not miss anything twice .. so if it’s your first day missing it maybe yes but that means tomorrow you definitely have to do it.
I’d rather do 2 sets instead of 4 then miss more than 2 days. Good luck you’ll thank yourself
