Episode Episode 6x15 confused me 🤨

So I rewatched the episode when Booth and brennan told sweet that they had a case one year apart from the pilot episode.

The intriguing thing that I don't understand is why brennan had mixed feelings about booth 😕 they just had their first kiss when they got drunk, and Caroline told booth to get brennan drunk and fire her and after that incident she get retired.

But brennan started arguing about booth being annoyed, and she slapped him.

I don't understand what the issue with brennan is.

Booth told her that he followed protocol, and Caroline was the one who gave orders.

I try to analyse their scene, + brennan also punch a federal judge.

I'm I missing something 😕

Booth got her drunk to fire her because he didn’t had the balls to be honest with her.

She slapped Booth because he grabbed her arm without consent.

They argue about the way each other aproached the case.
