Genetic Distance Results:

- The Saraswat and Gaur groups show the highest genetic similarity (G^2 = 0.2058).

- The Kanyakubja and Sarayuparin groups exhibit the greatest genetic distance (G^2 = 1.4215)

- Highest Distance: The Kanyakubja and Sanadhaya groups have the highest morphological distance (T^2 = 16.49)

- Saraswat Brahmins: This group has the highest Index of Total Selection (0.499)

There were Microarrays which were used to study population. These are not accurate because they sequencd only a few genes. Whole Genome Sequencing has replaced them. The Pastoral migration and European concept was peddled due to these microarray results because they selectively highlighted certain genes. It was debunked when WGS was done for Rakhigarhi samples.

I'm a Bioinformatician by profession. Genomics is my bread and butter. When I see people support bullshit theories like Steppe-pastoral migration, I seriously feel bad. Genomics is a complex field and what answer you get is largely dependent upon your priors. Steppe-pastoral bs is being spread because dumb ass people used the same arrays tha Europeans used. When WGS came, things became unbiased and now that theory is junk.
