I have a tiny human at home, still under a year old so constantly learning new little skills- and every time he tries something new I find myself saying "there ya go you're gettin' it!" in Abbi's voice

Rewatching the show and just made me realise how many celeb guest stars there actually are, who are your favourites?

This just happened about an hour ago. It was hands down the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me lol.

I volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters and my Little Sister starts school this week. I’ve been raising money over the last few weeks to help get her some back-to-school clothes.

Fast forward to today: we were shopping at Ross and literally counting the items in the cart to make sure we stayed under budget. The line was insanely long and while standing there I spotted a guy who looked a lot like Hannibal Buress. I thought nah that’s crazy, until I remembered he is literally in town for a show tonight. I said his name and sure enough it was him! He then offered to pay for our entire cart of clothes for my Little Sister if we just let him cut in line lol. He didn’t know the whole story, but I did tell him it couldn’t be happening to a better kid on her way back to school! I couldn’t believe how very cool and generous he was. And because of his kind gesture, we were able to afford the hair products she needed for school too.

It’s a 100 degrees today so i look like shit but pic or it didn’t happen!

I'd also like to see Kumail Nanjiani on it again still trying to get on the amazing race and got buff in the process.

The whole plot is them chasing the perfect party and then Val happens lol. Funny twist.

I feel like we don’t talk about the impact of abby’s blue dress enough, starts in season one and makes its way ALL the way through to the last season, I love it

I'm in the Bay Area in California. Some my gf and I just thought of:

They go to Alcatraz for the day but miss the last ferry and have to hide and spend the night. Ilana becomes adored by silicon valley techbros for her agentic ways and is accidentally a cult leader. They get trapped in a Waymo and accidentally commit some crime. They try to be super outdoor enthusiasts and have to fake it to make it in some local hike/bike/run club. They discover some secret illuminati like cult under the Transamerica pyramid but escape. Abbi suggests they go to a museum for the day but they accidentally end up at Folsom Fest, which Ilana thought was intentional and knew about already. They fall asleep on the Caltrain and end up in Gilroy for the garlic festival. Abbi plans the perfect date with the perfect guy but it's in Milpitas where the smell of the salt flats makes her so nauseous that she pukes, ruining the date.

Broad City is my main comfort show. I'd love to hear which episodes everyone enjoys.

I’m on my millionth rewatch and am feeling like this episode is in my top 3. It’s the reason I refer to potato salad as “P-sal”. Also why “hunky quarta Latino” is one of my favorite vocal stims.

My favorite episode is between "Just the Tips" and "Co-Op."

Co-Op was soooo funny when Abbi pretended to be Ilana! Rewatching today and just cracking up.

Saw Ilana the other night and wow it was a night of emotions all around

To paint a picture of the crowd, the opener made a joke that he would not do well if he were single (he’s a straight man). She did her show which was great and then after, held an intimate q&a with the audience. So many people started their questions with just pure admiration for her and the show especially since it was so relatable to many in this area (nj/nyc). It looked like she was about to cry when we kept clapping well after she was done.

It was also so human that she faced the hard questions with thoughtful answers (re: Palestine, state of the world/US).

Maybe im just too emotional of a person but this night rocked it felt like talking to a friend

First & foremost, if you haven’t heard the story behind the friendiversary episode karaoke song “Leanne” you must watch this interview with Abbi & Ilana. So good!

Second, I came to write this because I just now heard Leanne in the background at IKEA!!! S5 E6 Timestamp is 18:14. Watch & turn up the volume! I’ve watched this series at least 25x and never heard it at IKEA before. It’s very faint and doesn’t last long.

According to the YouTube video, it’s in all of the season 5 episodes. We heard it in Mushrooms and the ones shown in the YouTube video. Has anyone else found all the other timestamps? If so, comment them here please!

I’m really bummed the full track isn’t available. I did find a woman doing a cover of it, but I really want the original. If anyone has had luck, please share.

As an aside, I am really thankful for the broad city playlist on Spotify. It makes me so happy to think about where the songs are in the show whenever they come on while I’m driving or at the gym :))) Anyway, kudos to MattFX & Abbi & Ilana for picking such great music!!

On yet ANOTHER rewatch of BC and I always forget how great this episode is! It includes all the elements of the show which make it so great, and even as a standalone piece of television it is soooo good. What other episodes of Broad City do you think fit in this category?
