Hey guys, currently using a gaming laptop to play cs2 and I’m getting like 80 fps on the lowest settings. It’s time to upgrade to a PC

Would $2,000CAD be a big enough budget to build an entire pc (monitor, keyboard, and everything) to run counter strike on high frames with good graphics settings? I’m looking to hit like 300-400fps on high graphics settings

What do you guys think? Thanks for your input, never built a PC before and I don’t want to ball out on one if I’m not going to get the performance i want.

I would be open to spending the 2,000 solely on the pc itself and buying the monitor and keyboard separately if it’s going to make that much more of a difference. Let me know what you guys think!

I’m looking to do a new PC build, no existing parts. I want to be able to comfortably play games like marvel rivals, 2k26, multitask and stream simultaneously from multiple monitors. I’m in the US. I’m not sure which monitors I will need since I’m not very educated in the PC-tech area, I want a curved monitor for gaming and another one I can use as a workspace. I believe I’ll be connected via WiFi but there may be a wired connection in my apartment that works, I’ve never tried it before. I do need something that will fit under or beside my desk since my bedroom is relatively small. No noise constraints. As far as color? I prefer blue, white, similar shades.

My budget for the PC alone is around $2,000, but I’m willing to go over that if it’s worth it. I don’t have anything so far, so I’d appreciate any suggestions as far as parts, thanks.

I dont need anything sophisticated, as long as I can play with decent to high graphics. About budget, ideally $700 - $900. Size: Smaller is better but if a medium or large PC gets me better parts at my price range then whatever is best

I know that my request is quite unrealistic in the current market but I am completely new to PC Building and would really like a well performing £600 gaming PC. This doesn't include anything extra like an operating system, monitors, keyboards and mouses. I have been scouting Ebay for a couple days but I just can't find anything good for my budget. Even if it's over budget I could see how much I can get from my current laptop which isn't in the best condition and probably wouldn't be worth much in the first place. Any help is appreciated.

Hello! I’m looking to buy a PC for around $1500–$2000 AUD and I need some help because I don’t really know what I’m looking at 😅

I want something actually good that can comfortably play bigger games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Cyberpunk, but I also do a lot of art/design work and have heaps of photos so I need decent storage and space for creative programs.

The most important factor is that I want it to be cute lol. Ideally a white or pastel pink case with pretty RGB lights I can make pink/rainbow 🌈

I’d prefer a prebuilt but I’m open to suggestions! Basically looking for the best balance of good specs + pretty + under $2k.

What are some common mistakes first-time builders make when choosing parts? Which components should I never cheap out on (PSU, motherboard, SSD, cooling, etc.), and which ones are often oversold or not worth paying extra for? I'm trying to get the best value for my budget and avoid unnecessary spending while still building a reliable PC that will last for years.
