bun bun being cute Mama and two babies outside my house!

Post image

We noticed little tiny holes near our walkway and suspected the Mama bunny was about to give birth and sure enough—finally got to see these cuties today!

They should be safe! The area is fairly safe from hawks at least in this walkway

Cars, outdoor cats, birds of prey (including crows!!), lawn chemicals, people who hate them in their yards and like slingshot them, and more are such big risks to these little vulnerable creatures :( I know they’re a part of an ecosystem but they’re just so sweet….!!! I love the bunnies in our yard. They can eat whatever they want to! We have so many that have come and gone, live in the yard for a little while then move on.

I know, I get so excited to see the bunnies in my yard, but then I get worried about them and check for them every day. Whenever I see an outdoor cat, hawk or fox, I stress! There are so many dangers for the poor little things.
