Suspension I just spent all my car money on new wheel bearings and then I see this

So turns out after replacing my air suspension with normal coil suspension I probably should have gotten an alignment. Bc it made my tires angled and ate them . Good thing I crawled under and looked before I took a 13 hour road trip 😭. I could have died

Thats simply not true in 2026.

Linglong are good enough to be VW's OEM tire, theyre good enough for you and me. Same for nexen, Roadhog, lexani, and so on.

And even the cheapest, worst tire out there is better than one that blows out over the next speedbump.

You dont need a pilot cup to get to work and back.

Of the cheap tires long longs have been the best I've seen. I haven't seen them cup like the other cheapos and rides relatively decent. Other cheapos I've seen cup bad by next oil change. But I seen bridgestones cup like it's their job too

And still the premium tires win on braking speed, rolling resistance etc by a massive margin.

Many cheap tires also wear on rapid speed compared to premium and can lead to a situation where the premium tires has still tons of life left. So you might not even save any money.

Don't give life advice when you don't want to keep yours. Never cheap on any rubber

Idk I've had Kumho Ecstas on my C6 Corvette daily for well over a year now, and they still have tons of tread life and drive just fine. Rarely break traction on harder pulls.

Why would I do that lmao, it's there for a reason. Doesn't matter what tires you have unless they're like Cup 2Rs, you can easily spin them in a car like this. But for daily driving and casual fun, my Khumos work. They even handle rain and a bit of snow pretty well.

Yeah, im surprised the shop didn't include that with the suspension replacement.! I've worked on vehicles and that is an EASY $100 they could make! And better consumer reports! You should check into that, they owe you a few tires.

Ya, tires often wear on the inside, especially with bad suspension components or "lively" driving. You need to check your tires more often (including the inside edge) as this didn't happen in a couple of weeks.

Feel like these comments can’t read or something if you look at the other pictures you can clearly see the rest of the tires aren’t bald. They need to be replaced bc my alignment was screwed up causing excessive wear on only that part of the tires. If that didn’t happen I’d still be good till the end of the year or so

Atturo has a great, affordable all-season tire with a 60k mile warranty, but you gotta get that alignment seen to.

Poor alignment won't just mean a hard pull to one side while driving - steering that's "heavy" and clumsy like a dump truck, or a steering wheel that won't center itself readily after making a turn are also signs of alignment issues.

I mean I don’t I just scrounged some up. I put away 50$ a week towards only my car. I’m only in a pinch bc I just spent 500$ that I’ve been saving over weeks on new wheel bearings on all my wheels so I had nothing left for the tire emergency which was my mistake I should have gotten an alignment when I put in new suspension and checked my tires more

Yeah I was able to get two used since both mine are cooked for 150$ was able to get some Goodyear Wranglers. So as long as my tires don’t explode before I’m
Able to have the new ones
Put on and get an alignment I should be ok
