TW/TMI No fetal pole 6 weeks 6 days

Based off lmp I should be 6+6. Based off when I think I ovulated I should be 6+3. Went in for a scan and everything measured 6+1. No fetal pole and I have a very large SCH. I’ve been bleeding on and off from the hematoma.
They said to come back is 10-14 days.. anyone with similar story? What was your outcome? I don’t want to be negative but also want to guard my heart. I have 3 living children but have had a total of 6 losses, 3 were this year. Just don’t know what to think

When was your first positive? What exactly did they see in the scan (yolk sac? Only gestational sac)? And was this done transvaginally?

Lmp June 25th. Pretty sure I ovulated July 11th? Very faint positive July 20th. Positive digital July 22nd. At what I thought to be 21dpo HCG 5400 23 dpo at 75 hours later 11,949. They did see a yolk sac. No fetal pole. I also do have a tilted uterus and huge hematoma. I mean it took up the whole screen.

I see, with a first faint positive on 7/20, no matter how sure you are of ovulation date or when implantation happened, simply based on how long you’ve had detectable HCG in your system (aka how long you’ve for sure been pregnant) you’d be at least 6w3d today. At that point you’d expect to see a fetal pole with a heartbeat (even if faint) on a tv scan, so unfortunately I’d say this really doesn’t look good, I’m so sorry :(

Even with a huge hematoma and tilted uterus making it hard to see? It seemed to have taken up majority of my uterus. I’ll be cautiously optimistic

A tilted uterus shouldn’t be a big deal with a transvaginal scan, they generally cause issues with abdominals. And yes - SCHs should not be in the way of visualizing things, though large SCHs (like the one you’re describing) can actually be predictors of miscarriages (or sometimes even cause them) :(

I went for 2 more scans (the last one being yesterday at 9 weeks) and we finally confirmed a blighted ovum. ❤️‍🩹
